Spring Mountain Questions
Hello everyone. I have about a month or two left to utilize the Spring Mountain offer that came with my C8. Is it really worth it to travel out to Nevada to do it? I'm thinking of doing maybe a Vegas trip combined. What do I need for my trip out there? Talk me into this... Thanks

Spring Mountain is likely THE most important modification to your C8 that you can perform.

First, its an absolute must to discover and feel for yourself what this amazing mid engine Corvette can do and you will experience that there in class and on the track. Secondly, its a total blast to do. However, you may be too late but give them a call now. Good luck.

The most fun you can have with your clothes on!
I am not sure where you live. We drove up from Phoenix so had our car with us, so if flying in you must have a rental car. Parumph is around an hour west of Vegas. Beware as the police love to patrol the highway leading into Parumph. The rooms at Spring Mountain are nice. Breakfast and lunch are provided on site. Dinner is available, though a limited menu. There is a really good steakhouse at one of the casios. I brought my own helmet, but because I had no Hans device clips was unable to use it.
In class, don't be afraid to be aggressive and push your limits. That is what track time is for! Have fun!

The most important thing that I wanted to learn--- and did-- was how the car reacts in a slide. I knew the feeling of front engine/rear wheel drive, front engine/front wheel drive, and VW rear engine rear/rear wheel drive (not enough power to break loose) but I didn't know mid engine/rear wheel dynamics.
I felt it was important to know how to react to it's dymanics---just in case-- so I would never be surprised. ..
All the other stuff that everyone else has said .. I agree.

Ive been there 3x. Going again this June. I would suggest getting there the night before, otherwise you're going to have to drive a hour or so into Pahrump. Depending on traffic. Also there is some dead service cell phone areas going from Vegas to Pahrump, and even the NAV will go out of service, so make sure you dont have a Tesla or any other kind of electric nonsense. They feed you, and the food isn't too bad either. We actually went off the race track and headed into town In the evening for some gambling/food if thats your thing. But pay attention to the instructors, they are all excellent, and know what they are doing. I am impressed every time I go there.

Call asap and they can likely get you an extension. I see some dates available as soon as mid June.
