Removing 3LT liner from roof panel
I have a 2020 3LT with a painted roof and the problem is with my helmet on for track events my head barely hits the top. That is of course with me reclined and getting the seat as low as possible. I think I only need like half an inch to make it work so I hope that if I take the suede liner out it'll fit.
Has anyone removed the liner? I though about getting transparent but I don't want to shell out north of 2000k to have it maybe work.

Take a thin pin and see how far it penetrates.

Can't you just buy the standard roof instead of ripping that one apart

There was a very tall guy at Spring Mountain racing, All the instructors said the transparent top gave more headroom and traded his top for a transparent one, He did not complain. We all wore helmets.

Yeah, the transparent roof should give you a little more headroom.
