I would never have wood paneling just as I would never have a dipped natural interior. Some things should have been left in the '70s.
I also think it's an amateur job simply wrapping leather on top of existing leather. Real professionals would have removed the existing leather and then installed the new.
OP asks "what do you think?", but then disagrees with everyone who thinks it's ugly
It's your car & your $, so as long as you like it.

I've never heard of GM selling the leather they use, especially since GM doesn't actually make the leather components (seats, dash, etc.) - they are delivered to GM already finished. Maybe they do, but this is the first time I've heard it claimed.
They claim to have "250 leather colors in stock", but they only display 66 leather colors.
Is your car parked outside daily?

It stopped raining for a minute today, so I took the car out of the garage for a quick spin. I had to pull the wheel again because I put it in off center. Here are some pictures in natural sunlight. The wheel leather matches the seats better than the dash. I like the thick steering wheel while driving. Ok, wheels are next. I really like the E Ray wheels.

I love your attitude towards this. Way to many ask for opinions, get what they consider negative, and sometimes folks are just d!cks but hey its a forum you go to expect it or don't ask. I am that guy thet ADDED weight by covering everything in CF but as you mentioned it is a matter of opinion. As for your new wheel, I think it looks better. I kind of like that its a tad darker for a couple reasons. Primarily hand prints. Do I like the Natty dipped interior? Nope not for me but thats what great about the color. You do. Wheel looks 10X better then the black one. It really looked out of place. Enjoy!!!!

Yes they do. But after all the comments about not matching, I more closely examined my own C8 interior. My steering wheel might not match perfectly, but the seats don't perfectly match the dash, and the door isn't perfect either. The seat sides don't even match the cushions. But it's all drenched in a close shade of tan which is way better than the Saddle Tan leather/plastic of my C3. It's close enough. Like I said, I'm a happy camper. I did not like the black steering wheel with all the tan leather. Sorry to upset so many of you.

I can honestly say with no exaggeration that what you posted is the ugliest steering wheel on a modern car I have ever seen. The interior is pretty awful too but hey, who cares what I think? Your taste, your money.

I disagree with the dipped interior hate and applaud your goal to get the steering wheel to match. I think the black wheel is a big mismatch with these interiors.
With that said this execution was not up to the task. The color match would annoy me more than the original black did, and I think they really screwed you over by not replacing the leather.
But that’s in the past. Let’s talk about the plan with the airbag cover? That needs to be tan too! Let’s get this across the finish line.
