Found a great car at a great price but there is one problem

You can have the seats dyed black. It works with leather. Don’t know if it would work with the coated faux leather on the Corvette but it’s worth a try. Sam

I would think you would want GT2 seats?

Black Inserts with Natural
I had had a lot of complements on this interior. Even garnered a first place trophy last fall at the local Wings and Wheels show. Exterior color is hypersonic gray. I opted for the black inserts based on a suggestion by a fellow forum member who had the same car without the black inserts.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Don’t buy it if you hate the interior color. I had a cashmere interior in my 06 and loved it.
Now have Adrenaline Red in my C7 and two tone Adrenaline Red and Black in my C8. Liked it better than the yellowish look of the natural interiors that I had seen.
Get what you want, don’t ask us.

Simple - If you can live with the color buy it. If you can't pass and order what you want. BTW, I love my tan interior.

This is a neat thread that points out how we all have different feelings about what are important to each of us. For me, I flew up to Kerbeck in Atlantic City back in Aug. '19 for the east coast unveiling of the C8. The pre-production car they displayed was AO with GT2 seats in Sky Cool Gray. I had a hard time with the GT2 seats with their "herringbone" inserts that really stood out in this color to the point I felt if I ordered a car it would probably have the GT1 seats. Flash forward to three months ago and circumstances for me had changed and I was seriously looking for a car to replace my C7 destroyed by a jerk driver. Looking for a good used C8 I found one that looked promising and I began to read the equipment, good color for me (SF), LT2, Z51, etc and checking all my boxes until it said GT2 seats in yep, Sky Cool Gray. Oh know my heart sunk but the next word said "two tone seats". So I went on and looked at the pictures and suddenly the inserts in black really hid the pattern and it really looked totally different to me. I bought the car and really love the combination. The moral of all these words, keep an open mind and if it really does bother you move on to another prospect. Isn't it great all the choices mother GM gives us to choose from when getting one of these great cars? Good luck in your choice.

I actually love the tan interior with certain exterior colors most notably blue. If it's otherwise a great deal I might be tempted to wrap it blue 🤔

For the price of respectable wheel upgrade you can buy a pair Recaro sports seats. Or you can go as "cheap" as $40 seat towels. Or shop around for replacing the seat covers (OEM). Of course all these options are only feasible if the car's selling price justify the added expense of the mods. Some of us, including myself don't really care about cost since we mod our perfectly brand-new wheels and tires an additional $6K plus......just because.

Dyeing the seats is a bad idea in my opinion. Almost everyone gets a copy of the window sticker nowadays. When you get ready to sell and have to explain you dyed the seats because you didn't like the color, many buyers will not even consider it and others will deeply discount it. I think the color scheme looks good. However, if it bothers you just move on. Don't try to fix it as in the long run it will just cost you more.

Dyeing the seats is a terrible idea. You can always make something worse.

Found a c8 with very low miles at a great price. All the options I want. The only problem is the seats are black and tan. the color is like something my mom would order in her Buick. anyone ever buy the interior pieces to change the color of their interior. I just want black.
I can't decide if the interior color is a deal killer or not.
why, why, ? just get black
