I typically get about 14 mpg driving around town and I've seen 23 as the highest on long trips on the freeway using cruise control set at 72 mph (driving in touring mode and using V4 most of the time). 2022 Z51 HTC on 91 top tier fuel. I don't know how anyone gets near or above 30 mpg but it makes me jealous.

I have a 2022 HTC with Z51 and get right at 23mpg on highway. From what I have read on this forum it seems that cars with the Z51 option do not get as high mpg as those without the option, I believe the Z51 is geared lower.

The car has told me 30 mpg before, but it is wrong. See my post above.

My '20 coupe seemed to get better mileage than my '23 HTC. This is from a trip to NC which did include some mountain driving. My last 3 corvettes have always gotten good gas mileage.

This C8 gets reasonable mileage for what it is. I'm not complaining.

Nobody here is complaining, simply sharing data. I often drive like it was stolen, my gas mileage suffers accordingly. I created this post as I was curious as to what others have been seeing. My 911 Turbo S, S3 and M3 have all had equally abysmal mileage. None above 20. I blame what's between the seat and steering wheel.

These pictures of the dash display of fuel economy are EXACTLY what I warn about. They are not to be taken as ACTUAL data.

yep, the data reliability is up there with the 0-60 timer. cars that self report mpg are always enthusiastic with their numbers.

Mine (2024) is 8 mpg, but it has 150 miles on it :-) I assume it will get better after break-in.

I thought this was interesting. I happened to look at my trip counter today, I've never used or reset it, so it was at 9999. It showed my avg MPG as 13.6. My app where I've tracked every single fill up since the car was new has 13.689. This is over 12K miles. I'm extremely surprised to see the car is accurate down to one tenth of a MPG over 12K miles.

Default Just finished 500 mile “break-in”

Based on miles driven divided by tank fills (yes, I record every fill up on my cars) In the first 500 miles on mixed roads and interstate, I’m averaging 15.5

Hoping this will go up a little. We’ll see.

It usually goes the other direction once you're broken in and can actually out your foot down . I got 16.7 my first tank. Things went downhill (in a fun way) from there

Interesting to read how many folks actually check/track their mpg. I have never done it, well not formally, my method has always been start the day full, end of day fill it back up ready for next ride.

If I'm on a long ride or trip I typically will stop every 2 or 3 hours for a break and I fill it up.

I have only owned full size pickups with V-8's, high performance cars and sport bikes, none of which I ever bought looking for good mpg.

I guess I should care, but honestly I don't.

I never was smart, and way too late to smarten up now.

I don't know that it's particularly useful to track this data, but I'm extremely analytical and data driven in life, I spreadsheet way too much stuff so it's just a habit. It's interesting to look back at my old german car data in the same app and see that no matter what car I've owned, they all get crap mileage the way I drive
