Went to pick up my '24 HTC Friday at dealership. Car is awesome, perfect. EXCEPT: Frunk will not close or open. Salesman operated it few times, no issue. Than he tried to open on last time and it would not close or open. Four techs pulling on inside latch, pushing up and down simultaneously. Young man on laptop trying to decipher codes. Next week I hope. Damn!!
Anyone seen this before?? Can't drive it, error message on screen and loud alarm.

I see the "self"-close frunk as a net negative because you still have to push it down by hand for the first latch, so to me there's no point to it unlike the rear trunk which is a true self-close. On
The 2023s and earlier you could do push down both latches in one motion, so the self-close doesn't actually save any time/effort. And just one more part to break and slightly added weight to the car.

Burning Brakes
Kidding.
I have a standard lockout rod in my patrol car, I could have hit that button by now. Not sure if that would open it though.

The dealership service department managed to get replacement latch and close the frunk. Picked up the supercar last Friday (23 Feb) but frunk still inoperable until replacement cinch motor arrives. For some reason GM parts dept. not able to overnight anything. They said maybe Friday or next week on cinch motor arrival. Other than that the car is awesome!!
