Default Lemon Law Delivery

Started Lemon Law process back in September for a blown engine that took 44 days to fix. Was awarded a replacement the first of November, ordered car on the fourth, and just picked up the new replacement car today.

Swapped a ‘22 with 25,625 miles (19,600 at time of incident for a new ‘24 with 5 miles.

A lot of time waiting but I was able to drive the old car the whole time so definitely worth it.

And countless others without any issues don't feel the need to comment, except for you. I commented based on your obvious effort to make the car appear bad.

My sister is going through something similar now... how difficult was that to prove? How much in attorney fees?

My case was easy. Just had to show it took them more than 30 days to fix. Slam dunk.

And the process is designed to be owner driven. I didn’t use a lawyer. Filled out a form or two, notified GM and state of GA Attorney General and won a slam dunk.

But all states are a little different so read about law in your state.

And tell her do not get intimidated or discouraged. If she qualifies it’s an easy process.

I am going through the same thing with my 23 HTC. Hopefully they offer a replacement as well. Its been broken 4 months with an oil leak and is still sitting in the shop. I did get a lawyer, all attorney fees are paid for by GM. My case is a slam dunk too. Its been out of service since October and still counting. The lawyers office said many times that a replacement car is not offered, only a refund, I guess time will tell.

Varies by state. In GA it’s the consumer’s option and I picked new car.

wife and I just got back from date night. The C8 is the best car I’ve ever owned. Love it.

Sounds like you did very well. Hopefully the new C8 will be a much better car than your last one.
