That’s why I went with the grey trident OEM wheels. I actually think they look great, but a lot depends on the car color too (and caliper).

Oh, the Joy! Catching our first taste of snowflakes together.
this is what I love to see! This is me with my C8. No garage princess here! Some people on here probably would say this is a hate crime

The only C8 I saw at this year's annual Tokyo Auto Salon was by custom boutique shop Forte Special which apparently won an award. The forged wheels are original by Forte.

And here are MRR F25 in Carbon Flash with machined edge.

LOL! That was Goodyear's idea for lighted tires, wasn't it?

In fact, a few of the higher prices exotics have silver wheels and look better with them.

So show me your black wheels and help me see the light.
This post reminds me of when i bought my 2011 CTS-V coupe that was only 4 months old. When i saw the black wheels, i had never really seen them on a performance car, especially a Cadillac or Corvette before. I took the car to my paint correction shop and asked them if they would chrome my wheels. They told me i was ‘crazy and this was the new thing’. They refused to touch the wheels. In retrospect i was glad they didn’t. We nicknamed this V a bad-mamma jamma and the black wheels added to that effect.

Those were one of my wheel choices. Looks great! I've decided to go full blown bright pvc chrome. Can't wait for the transformation.

I was going on the fence about doing black or machined face wheels on my new Z06, but my wife preferred the black wheels. I might still pick up a set of the machined face and run some A/S tires on them.

I have the black Q9I wheels on a Sea Wolf Gray SR. I'm thinking about painting them gun metal/dark gray.

Silver stock wheels are just fine for me, wife loves the chrome on her C4, and so do I.

This is kind of a dumb thread. If you think black wheels are too common, get something else. It's not like silver is any less common...but, whatever. Get pink wheels....not many people have those!

People should get whatever color wheels they think looks best.

Me? I am happy to trade my silver wheels for satin black wheels. I think they look best with my C8's color scheme so that is what I am getting.
