Keep C6 or get C8?

The last Corvette I owned before the C8 was a C6.
The front of the C8 has far better ground clearance than a C6. I do have front lift but have never had t use it. Front lift also effects the ability to lower you car and the warranty per GM.
I find the cabin noise to be less.
There is no torque tube heat on the right. leg.

You can’t get a stick, it’s $50k min to upgrade, and operating costs like DCT maintenance and insurance are higher.
Outside of that it’s a better car in every way, but it’s a big bill to carry for a rarely used toy. C6’s with an up to date audio system are still great toy cars.

Keep the c6. The manual transmission makes the c6 especially the 2013 427 convertible would be my choice if I had to do it all over again.
a good buddy has both and he says 427 convertible hands down.
Love my c8 z51 but my previous c6 z51 m6 I put 143k from new and it was utterly reliable and the manual was fun too even if not as quick as my c8. Love the c8 as my daily and it’s great but since you are asking I’m throwing out a fair and honest opinion having daily driven both to over 170k combined.

Like you I had my 08 from new and really enjoyed rowing through the gears. For me it was a really hard decision. I drove mine over 181,000 miles and had to do a lot of maintenance. I think my biggest concern was the possibility that a computer would fail and not being able to replace or repair it. That was what caused me to make the move to the C8.
