Market is changing quick
I just happen to be in Daytona today, and drove by Jon Hall Chevy which had maybe 10 c8s out front. Sure enough all of them were at msrp and he had one 23 3 lt offered at $3500 off sticker. They also had a z 06 with the 07 package and all the carbon add ons for 30 over! But that will change too. Chatted with a really nice salesman, Francis Jublin, who was very helpful and a straight shooter. First time I’ve seen any c8s in inventory. Salesman says they sell a couple of 100 corvettes a year, but I’ve never heard of them.

It’s been 5 MYs. I wouldn’t call that quick.
Edit: Couple 100 every yr? Maybe not a straight shooter: https://www.c8tracker.com/dealers/view/2057/2023

Good info to know on pricing!
Jon Hall sold 76 2023 Stingrays and 11 2023 Z06's, 11 and 4 so far in 2024.
Not bad at all but not a couple hundred, typical salesman talk, lol. I guess with pre owned Corvette sales it could be close to his number.

I’m thinking I will find a Z at or below sticker before I get a call from Criswell. At the near 3 year mark now🥲

Good news that C8 pricing is coming back to normal and that in some cases the cars are being offered at below MSRP. Pays to shop around if in the market.

It was 80 in Daytona yesterday. Folks are more willing to buy out of town and ship, not sure winter is that big a deal as it once was. I’m going to mecum today. All those cars will be shipped

I'm wondering where the E Ray market will be in three years when the warranty on my 2024 SR runs out? Maybe take that long if I put a deposit with MM now.

…did GM see this coming… 🤔
I picked up my ‘24 at the end of Sept., right before the $2100 price increase…it had me a little bummed thinking if I’d waited, maybe I coulda gotten $2K off my sticker too. But then I realized I would be paying the same price now with $2k off as I did back in Sept., so I guess it’s all good.
…but does make you wonder if GM’s plan going forward is to hike the price and then offer discounts as was done pre-covid… 🤔

I love all these $3500 off "sticker" . "Sticker" has been a moving target since these cars came out. Constant price increases and you think you are getting a deal.

Do Florida dealers only sell to Floridians, then?
When the rest of the continent comes out of winter, demand elsewhere will rise, and people will start to shop around again.
Maybe even across state lines?
So, if an out of state buyer(s) sees a car in Florida that appeals to them, calls and buys, demand rises, and supply falls.
That usually causes prices to rise.
Hypothetically, of course.
