Default Auto Glass Now Experiences

Windshield met a rock yesterday on the freeway with just under 2k on the clock. Anyone have experience using Auto Glass Now? Also, any idea on lead time for getting a new glass?

I would call SafeLite and find out. But I would definitely want a Corvette version windshield.

my last experience with them wasn't good. My agent reports the same as of late. Funny though Safelight handles glass claims for Farmers even though I've chosen AGN.

OK... Before the installation, ask to examine the glass to make sure. Too many people have paid (well, insurance claimed, not out of pocket) for OEM glass only to have the installer show up with something other. ... Happened to a pal of mine with a C6.

I just had a windshield replaced in my 2020 C8. I used Safelite. Their total price for the install using OEM glass was less than the price for just the glass direct from GM. It was OEM and the install went well. It probably depends on the individual shop - mine insisted on having at least 4 hours and did not want to be rushed.

Neighbor was having windshield replaced by Safelight (not Vette). I asked about my C7 and the difference of OEM and what they install. He said they come from the same manufacturer. The only difference is that OEM comes in a box.
That's all I can share

Default Update

My glass was finally replaced (after having waited on glass deliver) Saturday by Auto Glass Now in Snellville, GA. It's an awesome shop and was an awesome experience. I highly recommend them. I had the 1st appointment of the day and the swap took just over an hour. No calibration required after the swap.

Well you know, some people balk at owners who actually take care of their cars...it seems...
