We aren't quite there yet, but I think we are getting closer. I've been watching Ciocca's in-stock inventory via their website and it has been moving at a relative rapid pace so discounts across the board are not needed just yet.
I ordered my first Corvette (2013) )from MM at the end of the C6 run and took delivery at the Museum in November 2012. Dealt directly with Tommy Jr. and got 20% off MSRP. Not sure we’ll see that happen again.

I would think the only chance of a discount is to find one on a dealers lot with more equipment than you want, and possibly a discount could help you, but not offset all of it.
You're not going to get what you are asking.

As I mentioned Koons already offered $1900 on a factory order. They are also discounting a '24 2LT $3k off MSRP which puts it less than my 1LT build.

If you keep your cars forever, a few thousand here or there won't matter much. I go through cars too often and don't finance, so I look at trends and numbers closely to keep this hobby funded.

Don't forget the many used cars pilling up. Very low miles many just like new some better then new with Xpel on them. 1000s of C8s for sale out there especially if you are willing to travel and have a great drive home.

Great point and this is might very well be what I end up doing.

Not likely you'll be seeing any discounts offered by GM on a specific factory ordered C8 for a few more years...

Yes, there may be a few C8s available on Dealership lots now below MSRP but not likely one that would have everything I wanted in my C8...I ordered my '23 C8 exactly the way I wanted it and got it for $3000 less than MSRP due to MMs price-protection policy...

Also remember that the longer you wait to order/ purchase a new C8 the MSRP cost will likely increase by the amount you're trying to save in discounts...

There are approximately 329 million Americans in that circle. So, one C8 on the lot for every 4.6 million people.

Even if you took only those 55 and up, which is the bulk of new C8 buyers, it's one for every 1.6 million people.

There are 1,730 Bolt EV's in that circle. There are "more than 10,000" Silverado 1500's in that circle, 6,525 within 250 miles of Atlanta.

They be paying us to take C8's soon!!!

While researching this, I found an article that states the median household income of C8 buyer is $76,000 higher than C7 buyer. Which also makes sense.

This is not the metric that you need to be concerned about if you are talking about getting a discount on a factory order. Factory order discounts will happen when dealers have allocations that are not being consumed. If you are a dealer who has people still queued up to pay MSRP on their allocations, why would you discount one? The queues are shorter, but they still exist.

Virtually irrelevant, since I can probably get 7k off an EV right freaking now with the backlog those things have going on. Supply/Demand is not equal across every make/model.

Koons is now doing $2500 off factory orders with no dealer fees... spoke with another dealer and they had one person back out and offered $3200 off if I placed the order yesterday.

$5k off doesn't feel like a great deal anymore lol.
