Default Shipping Recommendations…again

Bought a Z06 in Ohio and need it shipped to Florida asap.

Intercity does not run that route.

Recommendations for a good shipper appreciated.

Try calling Dan (owner) Area 51 Trucking. He is a private carrier that only hauls high value vehicles and travels to SW FL frequently. Very reasonable in price and you will not regret it. (630) 440-6927. Tell him Mark in Miami recommended him. He delivered my 24 Z door to door from Michigan 2 months ago in 3 days not a scratch on it either! Good luck..

There are a gazillion shipping threads here and at the C7 Forums that an "Advanced search" could disclose. From my experience the issue is finding someone with proven credentials who can do it on your quick schedule. All the best, in any event.

You might want to try JP Logistics. They shipped a ZR-1 from a dealer in Jacksonville, FL to slightly north of Bowling Green for $2,400, covered transport. Might have been just luck, but they picked it up the day after I called and delivered it the day after. I couldn't have been happier. I got the recommendation from a friend who ships high value cars.

Sounds like you have a number of good options. Best of luck with shipping your car.

I am also in need of a shipper to send my car from Florida to PA. If money is no object like a lot of the Forum members, then go with Plycar. I'm sure they are great. However, they are over double the price from all of the shipping brokers that sent me quotes. Money is an object for me so I think I am going to go with Montway Auto Shippers which have a very good BBB rating and has pretty decent customer reviews. They are less than half the cost of Plycar.

I’ve used Montway many times with very good deliveries at 1/2 the cost of the others like Intercity, Unreliable and Plycar. This time they were not able to pick up as needed for my schedule

SGT is delivering my new ZO6 today from Ohio to Florida I contracted Thursday. They picked up yesterday. Coming on a 2 car enclosed trailer.

Can I ask what they are charging for that service? That is about the same distance I am looking to do.
