i have a Radenso unit, but w/ any detector, it needs to be able to filter out the unwanted signals from half the collision-avoidance traffic around you. My unit does a good job.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Never heard of that brand and I've been running radar detectors for 35+ years. Best current options are Uniden R3/4 for a really good detector without arrows, and the Uniden R8, Valentine One (gen2) or Escort Redline 360c. The Unidens R3/4 is the best bang for the buck, having the same range as the higher end ones, good filtering and great customization (I have 2 R3s and a Radenso XP in our various cars). If you've got the money to spend, one with arrows is nice, but not an absolute need. At present, I believe the Redline 360c is the recognized leader due to better false filtering in it's latest firmware. Falsing is one of the most important issues with detectors as if it's throwing false alerts all the time, you'll just end up ignoring it. My bet would be that the Osmo has little/no false filtering as that's the hardest thing to get right.

I wouldn't trust that review with a 10' pole, looks more like and advertising backed fluff piece. If you want a real radar detector review, thy this: https://www.vortexradar.com/best-radar-detectors/
And if you want a real RD forum, with lots of real world users, go here: https://www.rdforum.org/

That website is bogus. There is ZERO chance OSMO is better than any Uniden radar detector. I use a Uniden R7. Best detector Ive ever own, and Ive owned many brands, even dating back to the old Cobras when they were the top dog.
Radenso also has received great reviews, but Ive never used them personally. I am previous owner of BEL, Escort 360, and 9500ci.. I am currently looking into US.STINGER for my Z06..
And what the above posters said, look at vortex radar website, for better and trustworthy reviews..

I've had V1, R7, Radenso. all good. Long range pick up not as important to me as filtering given my driving.

The Osmo website seays that they are a family-owned online store. For them to have their own brand, they likely got a Chinese company to build a cheap one for them and label it with their name.
The review is an “advertorial.”. This means it is a paid piece of advertising made so that you think its an honest review. Who paid for it? likely the company selling the top-rated unit.
Finally, the review appears to be AI written that is nonsensical and doesn't show the reviewer has any knowledge about detectors at all. Here is an exerpt:
It is particularly useful in detecting band radar signals, allowing drivers to identify speed cameras and red light cameras.
What does that mean? So it is a Chinese POC labeled for a family’s internet store and you saw a piece of their advertising and mistook it for a review.
Are their enough red flags yet?

"In honor of jpee"
Not trying to steal the OP's question, but wasn't Radenso going to come out with this super/ultra RD? There was/were a thread or two on it, and covid kept them down. But, covid is kind of over. Anyone hear/read anything about their latest unit?

The following is at the bottom of the review. It kind of tells the whole story. They admit they own the company, and it's strictly an advertisement for their own product. You always have to read the fine print.

If you want to go cheap go with a Uniden R3. A great detector for the money. I believe they are under $300.

Yeah, the Radenso Theia. Every year or so I remember it and try to find the latest status... basically seems like vaporware at this point. Radenso probably found a more profitable use for their tech than using it in radar detectors and has prioritized that.
