Zero issues also. 12,000 miles could not be a better car.

The majority, of course, are doing just fine... as with any such product. People with unpleasant experiences are going to voice their concerns, ask for help/support, etc. How many times have you bothered to flood the Internet with all your positive experiences with products?

Everything in this forum gets magnified 1000%. If someone has a problem, they post it. People forget that over 100,000 C8's have been produced. If just .5% of those cars have a problem, that's over 500 cars and if you read 500 posts on this forum about those problems, it will seem like all 100,000+ cars have the problem. Keep everything in perspective when reading a post.

My 2021 HTC has (knock wood) been great. A couple of minor issues when new (bad nav card & minor top adjustment fixed myself). The only two things I don't like is the road noise & differential whine. My C6 & C7 convertibles were much quieter. I love the car but not sure if I'd buy another one.

16K+ miles. Only issue was passenger seat airbag sensor need to be replaced. .. That's it. Nothing else mechanical or electrical. Car's a hoot.
As others have observed. people come here looking for help with problems. People without problems don't ask questions.

You're absolutely right. Run away. You will not like the experience of a vehicle you need to take care of more than a toaster. Although folks may use Adam's on the toaster as well.

1st day out of NCM delivery I ran it 800 miles, not one issue.
Last day running across the Midwest I drove the car 1,120 miles in one day, not one issue.
I've only had the car for a few months but it has been wonderful.
The "rattle" was the seat belt retainer strap, one snap and the rattle is gone.

Seems everyone reporting here doesn't have all that many miles on. Any car these days outta go 100K with nothing more than oil changes. To expect less then that is pretty sad. Lets get some real miles on and lets see, even the cheapest Toyota will go 100k plus with nothing done to it.

think I replaced a oil pressure sender and a Alternator.
Bought my C7 with 16,600 miles and now have 86,000 miles with only a $65 hydraulic belt tensioner replaced because of squeaking.
2023 with 13,000 flawless miles, so far.
All 3 this summer

Proof that any make/model will go 100k with only oil changes? Link to that forum please. You can’t do it.

Not many owners of toyota corollas are out tracking them and even if you are trying to say they are being driven "aggressively" on public streets there is still only so much performance those vehicles can actually provide meaning they normally operate within a window that is never placing much stress on the drive train. That is why you see these cars going so many miles. As a better comparison there are far more C8 Corvettes out there already with "high mileage" compared to any other mid-engine sports car out there.
When people purchase a high performance sports car they should never automatically expect that car to have the same reliability as an ordinary commuter car costing 1/3 the price or less. If they do, they should stick to buying toyota commuter cars.

Hey all,
Quite a bit of what I read here are HORROR stories. That gent with the battery/electrical craziness and lousy dealer experience is really concerning. The DCTs have been concerning too, with several cars held from delivery for QC checks and all kinds of other failure stories. I’ve read about all kinds of interior QC things too, from dash de-lamination to crooked stitching.
As much as I love the C8 and already have 6K invested in the ordering process, what the heck am I getting myself into? I know there are happy people with good experiences; any chance some of you can share your normal stories? Like small problems that were easily fixed or no problems at all? Is there any real data that talks about reliability? The magazines have an obligation to their advertisers and investors, so that data is always questionable to me.
Does this forum have polling function that could be conducted? Might be something we could all benefit from. I’m happy to work on it with someone on it.
Any thoughts folks?
Regards,
Kastle

Yep, one season and 4,800 miles. Minor issues with paint peeling around one headlight (waiting to see if more surfaces before addressing) and shading in a corner on the PDR recording. Loving it!

Now you're just being obstinate. The point that few people post, unprompted, to say they have no problems is absolutely true. Those who posted here are answering a specific question. Just give it a rest.
