Default 7500 Mile Service

Those who had the 7500 mile service did the service paperwork you received specifically call out that the technician topped off the transmission fluid after changing the DCT Filter.

Also if anyone has the service paperwork that specially stated Transmission Fluid Topped Off please post a picture of it here.

i completely lucked out. The dealer thought that the fluid needed to be REPLACED at 7500 miles, but only if the customer (me) asked about it. Since I simply asked if it was what was to be done, they took that to mean that they should change it out... They did a complete flush and replace--on their dime. When I found out that it was not required I went back and offered to split the cost, but they said . "No, our mistake."

It was not noted but I asked and the mechanic said he added 3 oz. as it loses just a tad of fluid. He keeps an open container of the proper tranny fluid just for that. I doubt it would be noted on the work order.

It does not lose enough fluid to be of any concern.

On that point I watched two Chevrolet dealer videos on that topic they said they top it off because they found a wide variance in the number of ounces they had to add. One tech surmised BG isn’t 100% accurate on filling the transmission that’s is why they say they always top it off.

If there is a variance on the level of fluid from the factory, then good that they would top it off.

And where exactly did he add it?
