Relax - you are 100% normal. It was a real surprise once I hit 500 miles. I am also going to the driving school. My first Vette as well. My wife and kids made me get it.
I know the feeling , got my 22 in may 22 and just turned 20,000 , still look for excuses to drive it and always take the long way home even drove past the house to get a few more miles in . Took some long road trips great way to tour this great country of ours .
Completely normal!! I do not have Z51 and still drive like "A Bat Out of Hell" when the conditions are safe. I often just decide to "go for a drive" to reduce stress and just enjoy a nice day. The car is made to be driven. Drive it and enjoy the ride!
Totally agree. You want to go to xyz tomorrow, sure I will take you there. Or I find a reason to go to Home Depot just about every day.
I always park at the end so I can look at the car from different angles when I return from shopping.
I find myself looking for any excuse possible to take this thing out for a spin. ...wanting to put the pedal to the ground at every opportunity.
Is this normal?? Will this feeling ever wear off?
Same thing happened to me when I started riding a high torque sport bike. Smile never went away.
Already doing that daily! I’m so glad to see you posted that. I really have been wondering if I’m losing it because I just stand and stare at it.
It's been years since I took delivery of my C8 and I still think she's the most beautiful object I've ever laid my eyes on. To this day, I still walk into my garage to stare at her...
