I had mine set to sport 5 in the beginning and had it there for a while but felt it to be a tad too much...I reduced it to sport 4 a few months ago and it's feels like just the right amount of response for me...

I went back and forth between Sport 4 and 5 and settled on 4 for daily driving. I've gone to 5 and 6 for some special cases. Anything above that gets real touchy.

Never heard of it. It may work fine, but the Soler is proven and reliable. And the Soler let's you disconnect the display and use your cell phone to change settings. Doesn't look like the one you mention does.

Installation says to open the drivers door adjust seat all the way back and then keep the ignition off and door opened for
at least 10 minutes for the TAC system to de-energize before proceeding. Can you just disconnect the battery instead
or does it have to maintain hooked up?

Yes absolutely! That is for if you DON'T want to disconnect the battery. We prefer and recommend you disconnect the battery.

I used Sport 5 on my C7 but it was a little to aggressive for the C8 so I downgraded to Sport 4. Waiting for the three warranty on the engine to end so I can install the Solar TB that I used on the C7.

Our products don't void any manufacturer warranties so there should be no concern there. If you want to be extra precautious, you can keep your OEM part in case you take it to a shop and it has an engine problem you can put that back in and they won't be able to trace anything back to the TB. We understand a lot of our customers are very cautious with the warranties though, but if you choose to install our Throttle Body before the warranty is up, it won't void anything!

Trying to install mine today but cannot find the harness to the accelerator assembly?
Do you have to remove the pedal assembly? Where is the harness?

Yes. You have to remove the pedal. 7 MM bolt, I think.

I thought it was a single 10mm bolt, but yes the connector is right behind the pedal. Slide the red tab up, release the connector, plug in the new one. Stuff all the extra behind the slit in the carpet and bolt it back in (after you pair it to your phone)

Once the 10 minutes passed, it took me ~7 minutes start to finish.

NOTE: Put the app on your phone and pair the module. Once paired remove the module and store in your house or glove box.

Default Soler Performance Throttle Controller Install on C8

We both tried multiple times to no avail. Anyone know the secret to getting the plug disconnected from the pedal. Everyone on the videos made it seem like it comes right off.
I will attach a link to where one of our customers explains step by step how to install and disconnect the pedal and get to the plug. He does a great job at explaining. Hopefully, this helps answer some of the issues you guys are experiencing with the installation!
