I purchased a C8 wheel rim kit for my C8 from Vette Stripes. It took a month to receive the order and I am disappointed in it. Their email address is not valid. Anyone know about Vette Stripes?

I had a real bad go around with them and avoid buying from them. Per my installer, marginal quality material (numerous blems), crappy return policy, and an owner that accused me of trying to pirate his design, he pirated from GM basically. After a lot of "discussion" he agreed to giving me 50% refund and I pay shipping. I cut my losses, returned my stripe, and my graphics shop, custom cut me a stripe. Over many installs of this kind of stuff, I have found it is best to find a local vinyl graphics shop, have the custom cut and install. Costs about the same as buying online and you can check the vinyl and work immediately.

My brother has used him a lot with great success. I believe he just calls him but I'd have to ask my brother. He did just move the whole company to Hawaii not long ago so the times being a bit low might make sense, plus the holidays I'm sure didn't help

I've seen a few complaints about Vette stripes wheel overlays lately...
Should have ordered through Tapeworks....Many satisfied customers here on the forum...Some have had them installed for over 3 years now without any problems...
Here is a pic of mine from Tapeworks I've had installed for about a year ago now and still holding up very well!

I just bought some Hood Stinger Spear stripes from them and they look fine, but I haven't installed them yet. The email I have from them is vettestripes@gmail.com.

I have bought a few things from VetteStripes over the years and have been very pleased with the products.
Sorry that you are disappointed with your order and hope that you and the vendor can work things out.

I installed the Vettestripes product. It has worn poorly on my car. The shark teeth are starting to come loose. I’ll have to take them off before the next car show. I did look up the Tapeworks product as somebody mentioned on another post. I’m thinking of possibly giving those a try. Sam

Vettestripes claims everyone is stealing from him. I think he stole from me for the price he charged for a poor product. Sam

Yes that cracks me up. He is copying a GM design which is fairly common and most likely not patented by anyone. It was actually my installer who told me to just buy from supplier as would be quick and easy and more reasonable. Then he checks product before installing, showed me the obvious blems, and refused to install. He then simply used his product, cut and installed. I would suggest to just find a local graphics installer and have him do stripes. With install probably just as cheap.
