Just picked up a 22 HTC in Red Mist Tint
Hey Guys - well it took me a few years to warm up to the C8, but the other day, when I saw this baby on the showroom floor, I just had to have her. Now its time to get her all cleaned up and start all over again with cosmetic upgrades to get her ready for next season's car shows. I welcome any tips / advice from those that have owned a C8 for awhile.

Screens for the radiators. Mine had a couple dings on fins from bugs at 60 miles. It doesn't take long for them to look horrible.

Nice ride with all the important options and add ons !
Trim the side skirts and front spoiler in body color and add the red stripe to the wheels and or black chrome them
PS Did you sell your sterling Blue GS ?

I like the cars with black tops, wings, and boomerangs.
I suggest the radiator guards, extended splash guards, and maybe some nice Lloyd floor mats.
Amazon, no rough edges, like them but added a couple of zip-ties on the bottom. Don't like or trust the double-side tape.
Ebay, nice and have clips. Carbon-Flash painted.

Congrats on the car, red mist is a great color. That said, there is a lot going on with that car. Too many lines, wings, vents, skirts. In lieu of taking off the tacky aero bitts, the best upgrade would be some aftermarket wheels with a clean and simple design in a fitment that fills out the wheel wells a bit better. C8s have terrible fitment from the factory and the effect of the wheels being 'sucked in' is only exaggerated when the aero is added. It just looks weird.

I do agree on the wheels though….

you can always get the wheels powder coated and put spacers on and save yourself a couple grand at a minimum.

Beautiful car - congrats on finding just the right car.

dont listen to this guy, the only way to solve the wheel gap is lowering the car slightly. you should not run a tire, or a wheel+tire combo, which is higher diameter than the stock stuff. seems like people run into rubbing problems quick on this car.

I’ll never understand this question about someone’s car. An accessory to see what they might run for someone who is thinking about adding something to their car, fine. JMO but kinda like asking how many men was your wife intimate with before you married her.😁 A bit too personal but I’m of different generation.
