Looking for some help.
Looking for some help from all you C8 forum members. My name finally came up for a ZO6 so have to spec the car out. I was thinking of getting the dipped tan interior and someone told me owners were having trouble with glare from the dash on the windshield.
Anyone have any experience with this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It does reflect off the windshield, bothers some people and not others so best to try to see it in person if concerned. I went with the natural/ black two toned interior and love it.

I have sky cool grey interior with the dash pieces in SKG also around the edges. Probably the worst case for the "hockey stick" effect.
I think it's similar to floaters in your eye, or tinnitis in your ears. If you fixate on it, it's bad and noticeable... if you learn not to fixate on it, you forget its even there.
Not once have I been driving and thinking "Ohh gosh, I CAN"T SEE because of those damned hockey sticks!". They never affected my ability to drive the car or see what I needed to see.

I have the Sky Cool Grey also. The hockey stick effect does show up, but is easily ignored. Wiping the silly grin off my face as I'm driving is much harder.

Just got back from a one hour Sunday top down drive. Your question my answer. What glare? Oh, well that pesky HUD I guess. Ignore the naysayers 99% of which have never even sat in a tan interior C8. Natural dipped tan is too cool for school.
You should be wearing polarized sunglasses. Only given two eyes. Take care of them both.

I think the 3LT might have the glare problem, my 2 LT stingray has a black dash with natural accents (hockey stick) , so I don’t think there is a dash issue with the 2LT.

I just kept a black hand towel in mine and laid it over the dash top in those moments when the reflection got bad.

Very common complaint with 3LT dipped tan interiors..
Chevy now issues these sunglasses for those who choose dipped tan interiors!

My friends C8 has it, I have the 2 tone. I can see the Hockey Sticks sometimes. My 71 has a saddle interior so I'm kind of used to it.
Friends C8 with the natural does show up quite a bit. It depends on the sun angle and the exterior lighting.
I find his interior annoying in his car, but manageable. His wife puts a black blanket on the dash when she drives it.

It is not glare, but reflection. Yes, my 3LT natural dipped interior reflects in the windshield. I put on polarized sunglasses and that greatly diministed the "issue." A few minutes into my maiden drive home from the dealer, I lifted up my sunglasses and my brain had already compensated for the reflection. It is a non-issue. BTW, when I was at Spring Mountain for the Corvette school, my car had a black dash which equally reflected, just like the natural dipped. Order what you like and you'll be fine.
