The nut for the valve stem is 62 in/lbs .
Is the TPMS located in place on the inside of the wheel so if you tighten the nut there's no chance of it rotating out of position?

Very true. For every 10 degrees temperature change you can expect 1-2 psi tire pressure change. Good idea to check your tire pressures at least monthly, especially as the seasons change. The TPMS sensors on my C8 are always within about 1 psi of what a reliable pressure gauge reads.

I've changed a few TPM sensors on the C5 and no chance of it rotating due to the shape.

With the TPMS systems I found 10 different teenagers gave 10 different torque values on the valve 🤣. It’s cheap and easy to insure the valve is properly seated.

That tool is cheap enough to get, thanks for the link.

Anyone have a link to a small 12v compressor to carry on the road? The more compact the better...

I looked up Meiser on Amazon and one of the ratings caught my attention "I have 3 and not one reads the same pressure". They are pretty cheap it seems.

The Schrader tool didn't have such great reviews so I did some research. Lisle makes one, (more expensive), but made in U.S.A. and it looks like a better tool. I can't get the Amazon link to work but they had the best price at $21.74

Weird. Takes me to superoffers dot com if I click on it. If I copy and paste it then it works. Something's weird with my browser, I guess.

I have a compressor in the Honda Insight that came with the car (no spare came with the car) but decided to order
this one this one
and
this case this case
for the C8. If I never need it that's fine, just having it on long trips will make me not worry about a low tire like I did coming home last week. Putting the compressor in the C8 and forgetting about it is much easier than remembering to get the compressor out of the Insight before a trip.
