I drove it home from Bowling Green to Wa.
NCM delivery and factory tour was awesome and Hotel Sync was absolutely perfect, you could not ask for a better delivery experience.
I left Bowling Green Kentucky the next day (after delivery) and made it to Minnesota (800 miles) easily, not stiff sore or tired. Headlights work excellent.
Spent a couple days in Mn. and headed West, stopping in the Badlands and it is beautiful in Spearfish S.D. (650 miles) Days Inn, great hotel.
Left the next Morning, into Wyoming and up into Motana and I kept it going until I rolled into My garage 1,125 miles. across Montana and Washington State.
Total mileage was 2800 miles and this car performed flawlessly with great fuel economy keeping the speed manageable and within 10 over at posted speed limits.
Picked up one minor ding from a rock or debris behind my lower rocker panel and a rubber scuff mark from a tire chunk but all buffed out, no windshield hits.
The car is rock solid and runs like the wind, it really wants to go.
I absolutely love this car, it truly is a dream machine.
It is cleaned, detailed and polished and I have had it for 9 days now. It turns heads everywhere you go, people all look at this amazing car.
I have accomplished one long week and looking back I would not change a thing.
To the future owners, it is worth the wait, these cars are like nothing else and the Folks in Kentucky truly are doing Gods work.
Cheers

Congrats, I did similar two+ years ago. Took a little more southern route, avoided interstates, and definitely did not stay within 10 of the speed limit. Great trip.

I took a two week vacation and accomplished this amazing trip, I return back to work tomorrow with memories to last a lifetime.
I cannot thank everyone enough, it really was a dream come true.
From the NCM delivery staff , the tour personnel and everyone I met in Kentucky, I would do this again in a heartbeat. (Stingray grill, gift shop etc)
I cannot wait to go back the Bowling Green again, this was something I will live to talk about for many years to come.
If i could reach out to everyone I met, I certainly would love to.
I hope everyone who is considering the NCM delivery could enjoy it as least half as much as I did, you really need to get your order in and do this.

Did that same trip about 2 years ago. Picked up ours on Sept 17, 2021. On our way back, we hit major rain storms. Car was phased at all. It has been rock solid ever since.

Congrats on your new C8! She's a beautiful car! The NCM delivery is definitely worth it. We did the NCM delivery in June and drove it home to STL area and loved every minute. Not quite as long of a trip as yours but so worth it. These cars definitely love to run and be driven.

Congrats on the new Vette. Looks excellent. I bought my C8 a couple months ago from a Chevy dealer in Stonewall Louisiana and drove it back to upstate NY. About 1600 miles. Google best drive rt brought me right by Bowling Green. It made a good stopping point. Stayed at the Sync for a couple nights, then drove the last leg home to NY in 2 pieces.. While it was a very bi-polar experience, it was pretty cool on a whole. Probably a top 5 personal adventure.
