Z06 C8R Jake Fender Decal on my 2023 Stingray
Had Z06 'Jake' fender decals installed on my 2023. Love the look....minor modification required due to extended length of the Z06 fender but i think it looks great.

I put the same on my C8 but chose not to trim them. They extend over the wheel well but you get to keep all the graphics on the decal. That's the trade-off I chose - not sure which I like better.

Cutting it short right at the fender line looks clean and tidy. But seeing it not cut is good confirmation that it can cross over the fender line and not look tacky. Plus keeping that black border along the bottom edge looks more finished. I'm not one for stripes or graphics and instead like to let the body with its design lines speak for itself. That said, neither decal method looks wrong.

I have the Stingray R package on my Arctic White, but it is hard to tell from the pictures if the two will match. I like the look, but for $400+ (plus installation) it would bug me if they were not the same color and pattern.

You are right about the Stingray R package starting out thinner and getting denser close to the windshield. The Z06 Jake Fender decal matches the "thinner" part of the Stingray R hood stripe. The match is perfect - they look like they were made to be together (and maybe they were).

Completed Mine yesterday.
Was a little nerve wrecking getting the curve cut. Use the bottom of the opposite decal as a template to make sure the line was straight and matched the body line of the wheel Fender It came out looking amazing I must do.
How much i cut.

I might add them to my C8. I think they would look good on my Switchblade Silver car.. Like you said, cutting them at the bottom would give me the most jitters!...
