Jabcat. To clarify, I pay a total of $589 for all 3 combined together. I am just realistic about what I picked for mileage to get the great rate. I have spoke with Adam @ NCM many times and it is mileage, not where you go.

I agree, we all make choices, I prefer to pay as little as possible....

If you are military, USAA is great. $750 per year, $500 ded. pleasure use only. It does help that I have a couple other cars, one of them is my DD, and my homeowners policy.

If I remember correctly? And it has been awhile since this was discussed...

They said they would pay the claim, but would upcharge you for the difference in the policy costs between where you had limit set and what was on it. I am guessing it would come directly out of the claim proceeds?

I wouldn't be surprised at the next renewal there would be a substantial increase or suggestion of different company if you had exponentially violated the terms.

On a side note, if you know you are getting close to the limits and want to increase, a simple phone call is all it would take and they would just adjust the premium. SO there is no one to blame but yourself.

I was with them for 3 years, and just relaying my experience. My current policy is much better & it's important people shop around

According to NCM today, it can't be used for errands including grocery stores visits, doctor appointments, or places with crowded parking lots where damage might occur. "drive the car to do anything you want - Except racing" is not accurate.

So just to follow this up I was at the NCM agency a couple weeks ago and I asked about usage type and was told Quote.. You can drive the car anywhere just don't go over the milage limit.

I drive my car just about everywhere. It is NOT a daily driver. I have 6 cars lol.

As mentioned earlier in this thread I don't run around paranoid of having awesome NCM insurance. It fits my needs perfectly.

Nope NCM said it’s a myth said any usage is fine you are covered. They do make you prove you have a second daily driver car you own insured with someone else otherwise they won’t write you a policy.

I have written correspondence from the NCM broker that says that they consider it daily driving going to the grocery store, doctors appointments, etc. and it isn't covered. Some may want to take the risk that verbal communications overrides written policies but if you're willing to take that kind of risk why pay for insurance in the first place?
