2022 C8. Air conditioner blows hot air for 2 miles then semi-cold. When stopped at light sometimes will blow hot air again then return too cold after 2 miles. This has been occurring over the last month, happens often. I've done the sync buttons / max air / non-recirculation / recirculation etc. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I am trying to avoid dealer............................Thanks

Sounds like the compressor is short cycling, on/off....

FWIW. The car I drove on the track at BG did not have a working AC.

I had an ac issue while on a road trip. Selected a Cali dealer in Irvine, crossed my fingers and went in. I assumed he would have to access the engine, htc, do an old fashion test and charge. Nope he hooked up a computer and did an analysis. He claimed all was ok, I had a cross country drive coming up……. But I swear the ac was colder. He claimed 40 degrees at the vents.

Point is these days it’s not the old charge and go, lot of diagnostics available. Dealer time.

I know this sounds stupid🤪🤪 but many C8 issues have been solved by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. I believe it clears stored codes.
If it has a code for a A/C pressure sensor, it might blow cold after battery is reconnected until the code pops up again.
If it goes cold then stops again you know a trip to dealer would help.

Sooooo, this has been occuring for over a month, and you are still trying to avoid the dealer? Seems like you have two distinct options:
1. Accept the lack of periodic / tepid air conditioning in the middle of the Summer, or
2. Go to the dealer.

If it helps, you could always go to the Starbucks next to your dealer, and pretend you are not actually AT the dealer.
