I heard about something like that. The MODE mod would be overkill for me.

^ Exactly, what's all the 'crud' all over your console. Seeing that every time I get in the car would drive me nuts.
You started another thread to tell us you spent 3 days waxing your C8, I'd recommend your spending 3 minutes wiping your console down.

Grease Stains finger prints on the napa leather courtesy of Bowling Green Assembly. The entire console needs to be replaced. GM has agreed to replace it however im not so keen at tearing the whole interior up to replace it.

The addition of the logo looks pretty good. Nice mod.

Cimario markets the pouches. They come in different colors and you can order them plain, like I did, or with a manufacturer logo. I first ordered one to see about color, fit and finish. Took over two months to receive product. After being satisfied I ordered a second one. Delivered in about 10 days. They must have done a manufacturing run and had inventory more readily available.
The pouch pushes down between the seat and console and it does require repositioning from time to time as it will slide with seat movements forward and rearward. I am satisfied with the pouches. Easily holds the phone and an auxiliary music source, gas receipts, etc.

Considering console being replaced you would have waited to put the emblem on until after.

PS: In a published article about the C8 interior there are deceptively worded comments by a GM person involved with the C8 interior that alludes to more rich "leather" being used. He is quoted saying the new Drive Mode Wrist Rest in the 3LT is Napa Leather! That small piece may be, as it can be made from some real tanned animal hide scrap when they cut the material for the "seating surface." BUT all other "leather," as it's referred to, is their Mulan or for some interior pieces probably Vinyl (both embossed to look like real leather.) For the C7 they referred to the "soft touch interior materials" being Vinyl, Mulan or Napa Leather. Never said what parts were which except like the C8 the top-of-the-line seat had real tanned animal hide "Napa" Leather.
Sorry but with all the GM honesty when discussing the Vette this is a deceptive sore point with me. It's a GM Marketing thing NOT just Corvette. Corvette folks have to follow the corporate edict. Reminded that "Corinthian leather" was a name coined by Chrysler's Ad agency. Probably the same with GM. Have no issue with manmade materials just be honest, like Toyota and admit what they are!
