Muscle car, sports car, enough said.
C8 is an American exotic that continues to evolve. The Mustang is American muscle that continues to get refreshed.

I've been down the Mustang road. Owned two mustang clubs. There's no possible way I could get back into one no mattter what they look like or how they perform. I'd feel like I'd be moving backwards in life and time.

The C8 is NOT an exotic, American or othersise. Look up the definition of an exotic. Exotic means that is of a foreign manufacture.

The commentator says the Mustang comes in at the same price as the Audi R8 and Porsche 911. That alone qualifies this guy as an idiot.

Didn't bother watching the nonsense, but why? Because it has a bit more HP? The C8 will stomp on it. It puts the power to the ground far better and handles better, both thanks to the mid-engine layout.

The ONLY thing the stang has over the C8 is the availability of a manual for those who like to row.
The C8 beats it in every significant performance metric thar matters. They arent even in the same league. A 500hp V8 is nothing special and nearly dead even with the C8, yet the C8 puts the power down better, handles better, looks better, corners better... basically does everything better. The dark horse looks like a dodge, or a boat. Yuck.
I own a Mustang I use as my daily driver (2020 model year), and can honestly say I HATE the car's handling. It doesnt hold a candle to the C8 in the corners, and is downright TERRIBLE in wet weather.
i'll never understand people's desire to compare stangs to vettes. The mustang competes with the camaro. The Ford GT is a supercar/hypercar without a Chevy comparison. The Vette is a sports car without a Ford comparison. You could MAYBE compare the Ford GT to a C8 Z06 (or possibly later ZR1), but any comparison of any Ford with a base C8 stingray is an apples potatoes comparison.
That video's creator knows very little about cars. Couldnt stomach listening to much of it. The few parts I listened to were terrible.

Mustangs are great cars, but, they are $28k cars up-optioned to do certain things. The problem is, when they aren’t doing those things, you are stuck in a $28k car.

I don't understand why people like Mustangs. It's a two-door sedan. It's not a sports car. The engine is in the wrong place. It's like comparing a Camry to a BMW 5 series.
