Seat warmers suck?

Seat warmers suck?
Couple months in and getting used to my 1st ever Corvette (and 2nd ever GM after a Pontiac minivan back 20 years ago).
I notice that the seat warmer on both driver and passenger side is "lacking". Even on the 3-dot "max" heat I can barely tell it is on.
Steering wheel gets nice and toasty but, alas, my butt is not.
Comparing to my former car (a BMW), that had a decent seat warmer that, in turn, pales in comparison to my Ford Edge and the wife's Explorer. Those get scorching hot.
How is your seat warmer? I'm thinking mine have something wrong with them.

I have them and never have used them and honestly don’t know if they even work. My Traverse is my winter vehicle and the seat warmers work great. I don’t drive my C8 in temps where I want my seats to be warm.

I've never used above the medium setting because they work quite well (but they don't get as hot as our Jeeps). Wouldn't hurt to have your dealer check them out under warranty.

Butt for every seat........
We seldom use them. Bitter winter cold for us is 40 F. But we have turned them on a few times because they are there. Seemed to work fine for us. Same with the heated wheel.

On mine, with the microsuede inserts, they get plenty warm. Not the turkey roaster that my old Mazda was, but hot enough I don't leave them on the highest setting. I think the leather seats might not get as hot.
As far as the "seat coolers," that's not what they are. They're described as "ventilated" seats. The fans just draw air from under the seat. If that air is cold, they blow cold air. In the summer, not so much. With the top off / down, not at all.

I've never used mine but my wife uses that passenger side often. She usually starts with it turned to max (3 lights) but soon turns it down to 2 or 1. I guess that means it works just fine for her needs.

Would be helpful to know two things…
1. What kind of seats do you have (GT1, GT2, Competition)?
2. What trim level do you have (1LT, 2LT, 3LT).
I have a 3LT with GT2 seats, so I have the microsuede inserts. Those do not feel as warm to me using the seat warmers as the seats with leather inserts in my C7.

I might add that when it comes to certain things with this car, expectation and reality don’t always align.
As others have said, ventilated seats are not “A/C seats”. There is no refrigerant circulating inside the seat and it won’t feel like an air conditioner on your backside. On a really hot day, especially on a long drive or on a track, the ventilated seat do a good job of keeping you from sitting in a pool of sweat. Works even better if you have the A/C vents aimed at your feet on the floor going so the vents in the seats pick up the cooler air. But still, even doing that will not make the seats feel like an A/C is in them.

I've used them, particularly on a chilly day with the top down. They work pretty much as advertised. I have no issues with them.
The cooling however doesn't do much but I wasn't expecting much.
