Default AWE Track Exhaust Installed Today - Lots of Vids

Scroll down through this thread, there are many other vids I posted after this 1st post.
Post 29 is a cold start vid and top down acceleration vid
Also, I did a review after my 1st highway cruise of 100 miles.

I had the AWE Track exhaust installed on my 2023 C8 HTC Z51.
I love it, it is loud for sure.
Cold starts are not for the faint of heart.
Low rpm cruising is not loud, but over 2000 rpms the beast awakens.
Between 2500-3000 rpms it can drone a bit, but I can deal with it.

Tomorrow I am taking a 110 mile cruise to check on my shore home.
My wife will be with me and I will give you an update on how it is on the highway tomorrow.

The black tips are on back order, but they are on the way, so they gave me the chrome tips for now.

Here are a bunch of vids. Next post down I added another vid of manual shifting, it would not load on this post?

Sounds good. They have great exhausts for the Audis I've used

Wow nice vids. I know it might be hard to quantify but how much louder than stock on cold start, under load, and idle?

It was reasonably priced also. I love it.

I did a cold start, but not completely cold like 1st thing in the morning, my wife said "OMG, that is too loud!" It is much louder than the NPP cold start.
Under load, it is insane, the NPP fully open I could barely hear the exhaust, with the AWE I can barely hear at all, I might go deaf, lol. It is loud, but it sounds great.
Idle is not bad at all.

Definitely deeper than stock.

Wow that is awesome. Can’t wait for my exhaust. Did you also do cat work or is it purely from catback

Sounds awesome. I've been eyeing their touring...very close to pulling the trigger.

I bet the touring sounds great, I just wasn't sure if it would be loud enough.
If it is half as loud as the Track it will be great.

I've used YouTube to narrow what I think I want but I really need to hear them in person. Cannot wait for warmer weather and the opening of local cars and coffee events so I can go geek out and hear some in person.

One more question, how noticeable is the drone between 2500-3000? Is it something only js owners would notice or would a random passenger be like “hmm that sounds like ****”

Any vids specifically in that rev range please?

Was wondering this too. What's it like on the highway at sustained speeds over time? I know the systems I've tried on my truck have caused migraines with the drone. Can't do that again with the C8.

Definitely get a ride in one with the exhaust you are thinking about if you can.
The AWE Track is very loud, if the Touring is anywhere close in volume it would be great also.
I will update later today after my 110 mile cruise.
I am dreading the cold start this morning.

All of my vids are in that rev range a good bit of the time.
You will hear it get deeper.
I will try to get a video manually locking it in those ranges later today or tomorrow if I can.

I will post up later today and report back.
I will try to get some highway cruising videos if I can get my wife to stop talking, just kidding, lol.

I am putting up 5 more videos from yesterday up this morning as soon as youtube is done uploading.

Too bad you don't have a comparison between stock vs Awe. Would love to hear the difference. Any noticeable HP/Torque gains?

Stock it sounded great outside the car, but too quiet inside the car.
The only way I could hear it was in loudest setting and with my rear convertible window down.
I have not really gotten on it since install. It would call every LEO around.
It feels like it is breathing better, but that is probably in my mind.
I told my wife, stock the car's exhaust felt almost fake, choked, like the valves were closing.
I did not feel like when I gave it gas it was directly connected, now it feels like my foot and the exhaust sound are connected, does that make sense?

After todays drive with my wife I will know if it is too loud or not.
I will post up later this afternoon or early evening.
