Default Every Time I See This Photo It Makes Me Laugh

One of the main reasons I purchased my clear engine cover was after seeing this possibility. Bet the GM engineering team didn’t think of this scenario when designing the stock cover!🤣🤣🤣

How is the clear engine cover going to prevent that? It is not like the rodents get to the engine bay from the top side.

You can see what’s going on in there with the clear cover before it gets to this that’s how.

I’m willing to bet it was in winter storage when this happened. My guess is not many inspect their engine bay while stored away. My C5 is in my parents garage while they’re away for the winter, nice part it’s a condo and no known mice issues ever that I know of.

My worst nightmare. Currently waiting out the winter in the garage. I've taken pre-emptive measures, including stuffing every opening with dryer sheets

I'm going to go out there now and double check. Where's my Bounce box?

I knew a guy with a Cobra that started it one Spring day after a long Winter and acorn shells blew out the side pipes. Too bad the chipmunks weren’t home at the time.

I inspect the car at least once a week throughout winter storage.

I catch at least 3 of them every winter season in my garage. Last year they chewed right through the wood molding next to the overhead garage door and made themselves a nice entrance into my house.

Spend 80 grand on a car then park it in a mice infested wood shed.

Once upon a time I had a mouse nest under the seat of my Harley road glide and it wasn’t in storage. I rode it, parked in the garage and later found a 1/2 dead just born mouse on the garage floor. I was baffled at where it came from and only theory was it fell straight down, from my bike. It can happen quickly and in places you least suspect, not necessarily in your typical twice a week inspection areas.

Only if you want to call this a mouse infested “wood shed” You might say my mice have expensive tastes.
