Regarding scheduling the plant tour- do you know what time the facility has their lunch break?

I called and scheduled to take our free tour during the Bash. We had the museum delivery in February of 2022. When I scheduled the tour over the phone with Becky we were allowed to have a total of 3 for the free tour. During the bash it shows the tour to cost $50@ and then you take 10% off if you are still a museum member so it saved me around $150. When we did the museum delivery I don’t recall them saying it had to be used within a year but that was during the time there were no plant tours. See you all at the Bash! Sam

Don’t recall the lunch break times or shift change times but I did read where the recommendation is to take the tour early in the morning to avoid the lunch and shift changes. Sam

It was Raised from $5-10 in Dec 2022. I received a of feedback for my comments on veteran discount.

Just decide how much it is worth to you. Yes, go. No, not. I can tell that the experience itself may be interesting. Personal choice.

I understand it is a $$ raising item for the NCM. Just Say that. There should be a <> for Corvette owners and frankly a free pass for current year buyers that GM should subsidize vs a Ron Fellows trip. My 2 pennies.

A a retired Veteran, I will stand on what I said last year.
Principle still matters to me unlike 35-45% of this country that have no idea what service is or means.

yes $50 is a lot for a tour. 15 people at $50@ is $750 for an hour and a half of labor for the guide. The Times They Are a Changin’. My observation is with the new museum CEO she is changing the museum in to a money generating machine and quickly raising prices. I look for the museum delivery price to go up for the 2024 model year. Also like the trend today is for CEO’s, they have to make their mark and build something new and big to highlight their generally short tenure before they move to the next job. My observation is they often have to “rebrand” and come up with new logos also. This is all my opinion and observation. So a long answer to yes, $50 is a big jump for a tour but I believe it reflects the new true mission of the museum. Extract as much money as you can from the members and grow the CEO’s legacy.

Hey man!!!!!! Been a long time!
I had 939 I believe.
I was on there for a few years as misteroman as well.
Tried to get on there many times over the years and have never been able to. Wouldnt mind getting another one.
I actually transferred from tonawanda engine to Bowling green 3+ years ago. Cant really stand the plant, but most of the people are good and LOVE KY! Totally not at all what I expected but only 6yrs left so have to stick it out. Never thought my "dream" would turn into "sticking it out"....
Hope all is well with you sir and if ya ever get down thia way, send me a PM.
Still can't believe I recognized that name lol!
