I only had a C5, C6, C7 and now a C8. But I remember my Artic White C7 was the first one down here in 2014 but in 6 months the white ones were all over the place like popcorn in a movie theater! On my other 3 Vettes I tried to pick a not so common colors. My wife loved the white....enough said!

Corvette buyers tend to be very conservative regardless of the flamboyant nature of the car itself, vs the very basic primary color palette that owners chose.

There's no wrong color. There are popular colors though.

Agree however, it is a color low on the list of favorites. Perhaps one too many hues given the day’s changing light, but it is my choice also.

I don't know what the favorite colors were for each generation, but I'll post my guess.

C5 Generation I'm pretty sure it was Torch Red. But I bought a Pewter M6 Coupe with Oak interior and it was a beauty and it ran great!


So I would guess again that Torch Red was the best seller with the C6 generation. But I always loved darker reds so I ordered a Monterey Red Coupe with Cashmere Interior . It was a beauty and ran low 12's all day long on street tires. But after 8 years running at Englishtown we moved to SW Florida.



I would guess again the Torch Red was the still the best selling color for the C7 generation. But I think Artic White with Adrenaline Red interior gave them a battle though since I had the first AW C7 down here in the Corvettes of Naples Club and in 6 months white C7's were all over the place like popcorn in a movie theater ! But this was my wife's favorite Corvette color and I loved it too. It was the best handling and fastest one I owned yet.


But unfortunately after attending several car shows it looks like once again Torch Red is the winner! But I wanted something different and even though my wife wanted a white Corvette I ordered a Silver Flare 2021 with Adrenaline Red interior and even though it's not as popular it pops in the Florida son like no other Corvette out there. Just saying when I picked it up the dealership said that was their first Silver Flare and with red interior it looked great. It is the fastest and best handling Corvette I've ever owned. I cannot imagine what the ZO6 and the E Vette are like! God Bless America !

I 100% will not buy whatever is the most popular. I will also tend to avoid colors that show up on non-sports-cars.

By my tally, that means about 4 colors out of 14 for the 2024 MY are something I would actually consider. DO BETTER GM.
