That's literally why I didn't get a 3LT on the C8. I had it happen on multiple C7s I've owned....... including the current 2014 and 2009..... they both have spots coming loose.... but according to many on this forum, it's just another issue that's blown out of portion and it's really not that common and isn't a big concern......riggghhht!!

I can't believe that GM hasn't fixed this problem yet, it goes back to the C6.

This problem has plagued GM since a leather dash was first offered on the C6 in 2008. I can't believe this is still an issue all these years later.

And while your at it, you can have the dealer align the glove box.

It seems to be only a problem with the LT3. That is the reason I didn’t get that option with my 2023 C8.

OP, I guess you didn't read the posts that said the C8 doesn't have that problem (sarcasm)? It is #$%&*GG(% that BG still sends cars out that have this problem develop so early after the original customers take delivery. 10-15 years down the road, not good but understandable.

Same here, had considered the 3LT briefly to take advantage of the interior options, but quickly thought about the MANY-MANY threads over on the C7 forum regarding 3LT dashes delaminating.
At least doesn't look like replacing the dash in the C8 is as difficult as the C7 where everything forward of the console has to come out. About a $3500 repair if out of 36 month BTB.

My 1970 C3’s dashboard looks like new…. I’m going to order a 2LT when my number comes up with Ciocca in the the next month or two.

Not going to let a few cases deter me from getting a 3LT. The 3LT option really elevates the interior so for sure it's that option or none for me. That said, can someone ask Tadge or upper management why they haven't addressed this issue? It is unacceptable. I know it happens with some other leather wrapped dashed from other manufacturers but that's not an excuse for the Corvette.

Hmm notice a lot of these nightmare issues do come a lot from brand new users? 🤔. Not sure what to believe these days. Hopefully I did not fall into the trap and being gullible myself. We've had a history on here from brand new users posting lies just to either ruining the Corvette's reputation and/or to get people riled up.

A few! You obviously haven't spent time over on the C7 forum that's littered with 3LT dash cracking/delaminating threads. Give it another year or two and I bet more and more will be showing up here.

I was ordering 3LT as that’s the only way to get what I wanted. I asked my service advisor and he said of ALL the C8s 3LTs they’ve had only 2 had this issue. I’ll let the warranty handle mine if there’s any issues.

Seems like this is becoming more common on the 3LT's, Not sure how they will prevent this from happening after warranty takes care it, Not good!

Some seem to think it's caused by sun/heat however sun/heat has little if anything to do with the 3LT dash delaminating as there has been many C7 3LT garage queens and those from northern states with little or no exposure to sun that have had dash delamination and many with much sun/heat exposure from FLA/TX/AZ/CA etc that have not had dash issues. It has more to do with the adhesive / fastener process and execution.

2 at one dealership is way too many! Sorry to see this OP.
