Default SD card for PDR suggestions

I am looking to purchase the formatted sd cards 16gb or larger. Anyone have success with any particular brand ? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Wal-Mart sells more than 1000 different SD cards online. You're not giving the OP much information.

Go to you tube. A guy demonstrates the recorder and the right card to use. I guess some cards don't work correctly.

High Endurance or preferably Max Endurance cards are the ONLY way to go. If not, then you're going to have problems down the road with rewrites. Take it from me as I have experienced rewrite problems before with other name brand cards that weren't High or Max Endurance. These cards are designed for use in camcorders and security cameras that experience numerous rewrites such as our PDR does.

The car has an option to format the SD card so even if the format isn't correct it can easily be formatted. And I'd use the car's format option anyway just to make sure it is happy with the format.

High, preferably Max endurance. The high performance card will die prematurely like the rest.

I did this one at 128gb and it seems good to go. It’ll be long time before I hit enough hours on it to rewrite, and maybe for the price I’ll just get another one so I can keep all of my recordings from day 1 with the car.

I formatted it through the car. Maybe didn’t even need to but when I was in there clicking around to set it up to rewrite old files as the default, the format option was right there so I clicked it. Took a few seconds and that was it, good to go.
