No shuttle from VEGAS. You need a rental car.

You need to get a rental car. And not an EV!

Have to have rental car, no EV's no place to charge, Pahrump is 52 miles from Vegas, Pahrump police hand out tickets all day long every day so speeding is a NO..........your need a car to get to breakfast, lunch and class everyday, the Spring Mountain campus is 860 acres

I know rain doesn’t cause damage but going through high water at speed might be an issue. Flooding conditions. 1 of the tracks closed because of it. Had to drive thru a small river on turn 2. This pic was one of the smaller area of standing water.

hello!
we do not offer a shuttle service ourselves. most of our clients rent a vehicle, as you'll need something when you're here on facility to get around.
if you decide to get shuttled, we have used these folks in the past.

We do have a partnership with Scrape Armor. while it does protect the cars from damage to the radiator fins, it can't stop all of it... As we are out in the desert, we do get sand and small items like pebbles get thrown out onto the course by other cars, which get kicked into the car following. We sweep all our tracks every day, so they start out as clean as we can make them, but again, with 18 or so students driving around, in the schools, it happens that debris gets on the asphalt.
Scrape armor works though! and from our standpoint, does not hinder the cooling performance, even in the summer.
I'll find some pics of cars without it, and cars with after 10k miles...

I did. Thought it would be a big waste as it rained hard the entire time. The whole staff was great and worked very hard. This was my second time, the first being in a stingray and perfect conditions. I think I learned how to drive on a track much better as any mistakes were magnified. I would have preferred dry conditions but overall did enjoy it.

great to hear! we do say that quite often, about a rainy track. we realize it's not as fun, due to the reduction in straight line speed...but it is a great teaching tool!
have to be as smooth as possible with all driving inputs!

I am thinking of doing this as My NCM membership discount will expire in late September, I want to get registered and start planning on going there for the 2 day Corvette Owners school.
Since I'll be there with a rental car for the 2 day interval, what kind of restaurants, diners and food options are available in the nearby areas.
I won't need much but I will be eating something and I'd like to know what to expect.
I already have My 2023 2LT Coupe and have been putting some miles on it as I drove it home from Kentucky, I am glad I am getting to learn some of the basics before heading to Spring Mountain.
I have about 4,000 miles on it so far and I am only getting started on this amazing journey.

I’d just eat at the facility. Burger pizza salads. Average other options.

We did a Turo. Pick up and drop off right in the airport parking lot near our gate. Couldn’t have been easier.

IMHO for the 2 day class, it's better to eat at the facility to meet with your fellow classmates.
I was there Dec 11/12, 2023 and had my C8 with me.

I went to Las Vegas for dinner on Sunday night Dec 10, but on Monday I ate dinner at Spring Mountain and met some cool folks for dinner.
Warning - Las Vegas has construction going on in many streets - it was a freakin' nightmare getting stuck on the main strip. It took me 30 mins to travel 1 mile to get back to side streets

Food is pretty good and while Parhump has restaurants ~4 miles down the street, sometimes just easier to hang out.
Also, note that the restaurant list sent by Spring Mountain notes some restaurants closed on Monday, so keep that in mind.

Arrival at Spring Mountain, Dec 10, 2023 Sunday ~4:30PM

Spring Mountain track near 'yellow' room.

Las Vegas (Excalibur Hotel) evening of Dec 10, 2023 Sunday

is it customary to tip instructors? amount? directly to them?
trying not to cheap out since getting discounted rate as new owner.

It’s a collective tip at the end of day 2. I’d suggest $100.
