I received an email from Chevrolet saying my order was accepted on 10/1, my dealer told me my car was to be built the week of 10/17. That is delayed due the plant shut down, where does that place me? What is 3000, 3300 etc and where do you get those numbers?

The High Wing, all weather mats and Q9I wheels are on constraint. As for Z51, Non Z51, with or without Mag Ride here is how that works. When GM gives the dealer their allocations they will tell each dealer what that dealership can order. I got 4 allocations last Thursday 3 cars had to be Z51 and one could be non Z51 and I could order mag ride on all of them if I wanted to

My order was accepted the same time as yours but no TPW yet. Curious if yours actually got a build week that quick or if dealers just told you that.

I am currently at 7 weeks and still waiting for my "3300" status .... My order: C8 HTC with Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, Q9I Wheels (as far as big ticket items)..... Q9I might be the holdup from what i have gathered here on the forum.

I did not select any options that were constrained so hopefully mine goes quicker.

I went to 3300 a few days ago. I just checked. I know all of us in the 3000+ club are impatient but I guess 3000 is better than 1300 on the wait list.

Mine is a non-z-51 coupe and it is silver. I’m hearing that z-51s are getting priority at the moment so that might put me back. I also wonder if the color makes a difference since silver is one of the least popular colors and it’s maybe easier to paint a bunch of popular colors in a row. Not much I can do about it but wait, I guess.

congrats! And that’s quick. Last I checked I’m still at 3000 with a TTPW of 11/28. Grant it I ordered a HTC, with FE2, and the Q9I wheels. Basically everything that went on constraint just a few days later. I’m just hoping I might have the car by Christmas. With the plant closing this week, it’s looking less likely.

Purely just a guess but since they have more parts and probably take longer to install, the 2-in-a-row constraint is probably related to physically getting parts to the install point and then stacking all the parts for assembly and then assembly while keeping the line going. I seem to remember that there are almost as many convertibles built as coupes (maybe not exactly but somewhat close) so it might be something like 2 convertibles, 2-3 coupes, etc.
