None of the bigger sellers are anywhere close to Texas. Below is a list of the top 100 in 2021. The dealer in Grapevine, TX is #15, but many on the list are charging a premium over MSRP. There is also a big drop off after the top 5.

Yep bought 3 from Kerbeck(now Ciocca.) The last two, my 2017 Grand Sport and C8 had Courtesy Delivery to a small local Chevy Dealer with a great Service Manager and Corvette Tech. Both were only $350. As you said transaction was seamless! This dealer service manager does a great job as they want my after-sales business- which they get. Stopped using the large (only) Chevy/BMW/Mercedes dealer in town who did my 1st 4 Vettes in favor of this dealer 30 miles from my home. Worth the extra time.

I would look for a small dealer close to my home who does not have sufficient Corvette allocations to be concerned about you not buying from them. But don’t approach the sales manager as they usually don’t get anything. Ask the service manager who to contact. Also ask questions and be sure you are comfortable he will do a good job on the PDI and if any issues are found is happy to deal with GM. They get reimbursed by GM for both.

Hope the OP is not in a hurry. McMulkin told me three weeks ago delivery time is 10-12 months. I interpret this as if you order now you will be on the 2024 model list.

From McMulkin:Order timing is something that we really can't estimate at the moment with any degree of accuracy. That being said, if I were to guess on timing for a new deposit as of today, I would say you would be looking at 10-12 months until delivery. Once we get closer our range will be more accurate. We can only guess at this point.

If you want to make sure you're not going to get hit with last minute ADM or mandatory options, and that your dealer is honest about how long you'll have to wait and how many allocations they get, it still matters.

I called Criswell today, and was told a 15-18 month wait, and it would be a 2024 model. By that time, I'll probably already have something else.

Tried MacMulkin twice and got put on hold for 20 minutes and no one came on the phone.

If I had to do it all over again I would go with MacMulkin. They have gone above and beyond and made my whole experience seamless and stress free. I would call them again and ask for Christian or Adam in Corvette sales. They are the number two Corvette dealer for a reason. I am taking delivery on Tuesday after 49 weeks. I was told 12 - 15 months back in October.

I'm on my 3rd Vette with my sales consultant at Ciocca and started with him in 2016 when the dealership was owned by Kerbeck. Sam Kelley...he will call you back if you reach his voicemail and you are probably looking at 12 to 15 months for delivery from wait list inception date. MSRP and no BS. When I read the stories on car forums and facebook about people waiting years to take delivery or paying way over MSRP to get the car quicker at some dealers...It's just poor planning on the buyer's part.
I asked people the question...What happened...you just woke up one day and decided you had to have a $100k car immediately? I get it, if you have more money than expected time left on earth, otherwise, plan out your purchase and have something to look forward to and don't get screwed by an unscrupulous dealer that has very little allocation. We are now 4 model years into the order and wait game and it doesn't seem to be getting any quicker in the foreseeable future.

^^^
Sam has been my rep for my last two Vettes, a 2017 Grand Sport and my C8. Both Courtesy Delivery to a small dealer 30 miles from home. They could not not believe how Sam and company were able to get SC to send me my plates and registration without them interacting with the local SC DMV where you had to make appointments to visit. DMV in Columbia where the registration is done was not taking calls because of the pandemic. All by FedEx or Mail. They would send me next day FedEx and when I needed to return signed docs it included a prepaid next day FedEx envelope! Always was able to contact Sam quickly via email of text.

Great folks. My 1st Vette from them was my 2008 when there was not as much Internet buying. All done by Phone and mail. Flew to Atlantic City when my car built just for me came in. Drove it the 500 miles home. BTW even my 2017 was bought at their published price for cars they had in stock, all priced on the Net. I bought at what I call “winter pricing.” It was about ~15% under MSRP. They help BG avoid layoffs STARTING AT ABOUT Christmas time when most dealers don’t order Vettes. GM provides dealer incentives and they buy a lot of Vettes. When I ordered mine to be built for me they had ~250 in inventory. Yep they are number 1 Vette seller and have been for years, FOR GOOD REASON.

From my end, my communication with MacMulkin was via email. They got back to me in a timely manner and it was nice to have things in writing. They called me once or twice during the process and it ended well. I was happy and satisfied.

Bud's Chevrolet in St. Mary's, Ohio. Corvette sales manager Tom Hendricks is fantastic. You really receive personal attention.

The top 5 are all good. My dealings with Criswell, especially Mike Furman, even the heart wrenching () picking my car, color, interior, and options process, have been pleasant, smooth transactions and no hiccups.

I second that motion! Shout out to Tom Hendricks in Ohio. Never bought a car remotely before, and Tom was excellent to work with.
