Blacked nacelles that come from the factory
Are they painted black or wrapped with some black PPF's?
Just curious. Wouldn't want any wrapped nacelles you know

I like the look of the Black Nacelles, on a Rapid Blue car - but I also like the option of buying the car without black nacelles and then having them wrapped so that I can change it up down the road if I want to.
Has anyone had their HTC nacelles wrapped? If so, what is the approximate cost?
Thanks.

Yes....but it all depends on the shop. I had mine done for $200. But I believe must shops are doing it for around $300 in black metallic not carbon flash. Also I had the entire roof done for $400.

Painted Black and not from the factory. They come pre painted by the roof manufacturer and dropped into the car as a whole one piece pre assembled unit.

I prefer the look of the body-color roof (and mirrors/wing) so that's what I ordered for my '23 HTC.
That said, the dealer I purchased from does have a white HTC 3LT with the carbon flash painted nacelles and roof, and at the rear edge of the nacelles where they meet the engine hatch, the masking was really poorly done at the factory. The line was fuzzy where they'd pulled the fine line tape. It was then clearcoated and thus locked in, so nothing could be done about it. I would not accept that on a $100K vehicle! And if it can be this way on one vehicle, statistically-speaking, the phenomena has to be found on others too. Kind of a crap shoot as to what you'll receive.
That made me even more affirmed to have the body color painted roof!

Nacelles, roof, and windshield surround factory painted carbon flash and it looks perfect. Just what we wanted.

Not that the OP asked, but since others are posting opinions: I think the black nacelles and roof look really good on light colors, not so good on darker ones, like Red Mist. And I think the black nacelles with body color roof just looks odd.

Fore58 - what are your thoughts on Wrap versus Factory Painted nacelles????
I am considering ordering with body color paint, then wrap after I get the car. It gives me (or a subsequent) owner the option of going back to body color if I tire of the black nacelles look.
Does factory painted look better? For instance, does it match the color of the black side boomerang better?

Painted... and can be REpainted to match the body color, if one messed up ordering or buying used.

So when it came in - the roof and nacelles came in same as the body color. He did admit that he screwed up, and offered to pay 1/2 the cost to have them wrapped.
Factory cost was $1100. To have a professional shop install the wrap was $500. I paid $250 and actually saved about $900.
You can't tell the wrap from the actual factory painted ones that I have seen in car shows.
This is the only picture I have with the top down.

Do people even do any bit of research before posting anymore?
