car storage
I'm all out of covered parking, no room for a lift. I've already got an m4 out in the florida sun (it's white).
I wash and wax it every month and have that ceramic window tint, windshield/dash cover, leather hides over the seats..
I understand an xpel wrap would ward off the UV rays even better.
I've got an HOA so nothing on the lot other than the house.. I have 1 spot left in the sun. It would be rapid blue in the sun.
So what ideas do you guys have for covered parking in Tampa, or smartest in-the-sun life for a car.
We have paddock1 or Motor Enclave in Tampa which is kind of expensive in monthly and yearly dues so I've sorta ruled those out.
Thanks

Can you install one of those retractable awnings that people use on their back patios, but maybe above the garage instead? Then just extend it out to provide some cover. HOA's are a major PITA though so that idea may not fly.

advertise in your HOA newsletter for a garage space. do same in the general area. don't forget with whomever that the car will be protected from lawn mowers, kids' bikes, ladders on walls, etc.*
* don't forget the "bark" on startup of your C8 if NPP equipped. you and your family may accept it in your garage, but many/most won't in their garage for your car esp. if backed in tail end first. thus, commercial gar. is/may be best.
re car covers, it depends on how well you tie the cover to the car. in big, blowing winds, most of the crimped and elasticized edges don't work--eventually, they fail to some degree. with the cable tie-down thru the middle, if you do it right and pull it tight by cutting the slack to zero, it will at least hold the cover on the middle of the car and not allow it to flap in the wind. and if you can do it for front and back that may solve the problem. trouble is, it takes some effort and expertise. and I haven't seen ties for front and rear---doesn't mean they don't exist, I just haven't seen them yet.
