It’s a factory option, L.P.O. comes with R center caps a R hood decal and those decals for the doors or rockers. It’s an appearance package to pay homage to the C8R race cars.
The sole purpose of an emblem or decal is to denote what the item is on which it is placed. "Stingray R" would indicate this version of a Stingray is somehow different from a standard Stingray - which it isn't save for your wallet being depleted $500 for $50 worth of stickers.

I got the Stingray R package on my HTC because I think the hood "Jake" Corvette racing decal looks better than the factory stripes and I only wanted something on my hood, not over the tonneau cover and trunk lid.

Although I have posted this picture before, I thought it would be appropriate here. My C8 is a 2020, of which I took NCM delivery in November of '20. In December of '20 I saw that Pat at American Hydrocarbon had the splitter with the "Stingray R" logo painted under the clear coat and it looked great to me. So I ordered it and then found the "Stingray R" center caps at my Chevy dealer. After that I went to my local graphics guy and developed my own "Stingray R" package. This was accomplished in Dec.'20, long before GM came up with their version. I guess they had the idea but had not put anything out for production. I also have the "Stingray R" windshield banner. I'm sure it is too much for some folks, but I have had lots of positive comments on the uniqueness of it. It is safe to say I haven't owned a car in the last 35 years without some added graphics. I just thought this was an appropriate thread to share my rendition of the "Stingray R' package.
I have the package too. My only compaint/wish is that the lettering should have been raised lettering. Not too tall but just a bit. Something like this. Then it would have been an emblem, not a decal

Now that u posted it most likely won't be on Ebay long. I found a great under hood logo for my C7, and many friends also bought it. At issue was she got a cease and desist from GM as the business never paid up. Buy these quick if you want them. Typically these decals on Ebay aren't licensed and GM doesn't tolerate it these days.
unlikely theyll sell enough to hop on GM's radar unless a GM rep chances across this thread. I'd be shocked if more than 15 people on this entire forum bought them.
