Would I be happier with a C8 or a Challenger?

Its a Modern Day Muscle Car.
Was first called the Personal Luxury Cars.
Your right not a Sports Car or a Pony car ( Camaro or Mustang ).
The last Personal Luxury Cars where the Late 80's G-body RWD Regal, Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix ect..
These Cars filled a Nitch that has been gone for awhile until the Dodge Challenger, that's why I think they sell so well and they got Power.
They are not Boxy more like Coke Bottle.
I don't have one (I got a G-body) but i can see why people like them.

Having owned a 2014 Shelby and a 2019 Challenger redeye I have to admit they were both fun but severely traction limited. Now a new C8 is being built next week and I’m thinking traction might finally be immediate. All performance cars are fun but they are all different, the secret is enjoying what you’ve got or finding something that you will like.

The fact that I don't even give them a second look is a very good reason for me not to buy one. I need to be impressed with the look before I would ever buy anything. If I like the way it looks I will then look into it further and maybe consider buying one. Had I not liked the look of the C7 and now C8 I never would have bought either.

I would recommend the Challenger to my grandparents. At 5,000 to 6,000 lbs. it seems like the safer automobile in the event you fall asleep at the wheel.

I am new to this site, I have had a c4 anniversary, c5 convert and a c6 convert. I sold the 2010c6 and bought a brand new challenger Hellcat loaded with the Alcantara and Napa seats. I love this car. So fast and comfortable but I am having corvette withdrawals I thought I’d just get a c5 convert since it was my fav vette but my wife threw a hissy fit about 3 cars so I suggested selling the Cat which she liked so went to Bob Stall Chevy in La Mesa and am 88th in line waiting for awhile to order (@MSRP). The Cat interior is really comfortable the car is a bat outta hell but it ain’t no Mid-engine Vette. I am looking forward to it very much. My advice is buy what your heart draws you to and don’t second guess yourself. Truth? I will miss my black on black Hellcat but my new lt2 with natural tu-tone and the black exterior and black forged wheels will certainly help me get over it lol

You obviously like the Challenger, so buy the C8, see if you like it great, if not sell it at a profit and get the Challenger. I bought the C8 because it is an American sports car and I always loved the Corvette, so how can I pass up the opportunity to get the best one yet. Not much extra room in the C8 for sure, nor the most practical car out there but it is one fine sports car.

Challenger vs C8
Just took a ride in a challenger 392. Interior way cheaper looking and couldn’t launch without spinning the tires. Took a few seconds to get moving but sounded great. Fit and finish was ok as well. Huge muscle car presence with the accompanying humongous size. He was struggling to get any gas mileage out of it as well. Not that that matters but at $5 bucks plus a gallon it does now. Same price point as the corvette according to him but I don’t know.

I owned both a 2016 C7/Z06 and a 2016 Hellcat Challenger.
Apples and oranges. Completely different driving experiences.
One is a refined sports car and the other is a beast.
Both lots of fun but in different ways.
Hellcat made the better sound - super-charger whine seemed to be there all of the time.
I now own a C8 3LT with Z51/Mag Ride/........
Same opinion.
I'd love to have both a C8/Z06 and a Demon.

I've had three 392's...with manual shift...every one had no trouble getting 22 rural driving and 25 on trips The five Corvettes about 2 mpg better on average...but hey 1200 pounds heavier and a bigger motor, that cast iron 392 does pretty good and extremely comfortable..not sure about the Kitty though...
