XM Trial Issue
Anyone have trouble with getting the 12 month Trial , My 22 2LT should have had a 12 month trial by everything I have read. I have been battling this for a month to get resolved XM is giving me the runaround insisting my radio had 3 months . Their own website states chevy corvette has a 12 month Trial . I would be interested if anyone else has had an issue and how they resolved it . Ive spoken to my dealer they spoke to the XM dealer rep who was supposed to figure out what was going on and get it resolved . That was a month ago so I figured before I go back to them again I would ask and see if anyone had any info . I just spent a hour between xm chat and phone call to no resolution , they claimed they would open a case and investigate . Thanks for any info in advance .

to investigate it all just seems ridiculous as their own site says what it should be

Your experience should tell you something about them. Forget 'em and listen to something else.

I didn't listen to Sirius at all, so it didn't matter if it was a 3 month or 300 year trial period...

The biggest red flag for me was they require a phone call discussing all of your personal information to end a subscription vs a simple click on their website. Don't get suckered into the 6-12 month extension at a reduced rate. First impressions are lasting and CEOs have no clue. No Sirius for me ever. It's as useless now as paying for the GM navigation SD card vs Android auto (maps and Waze) or iPhone whatever it is called - lol.

I've used Sirius/XM for several years with several cars. I like their large playlist, but the company is totally nuts. Customer service is off shore, and the billing is very bizarre. You can get $5 a month if you are persistent and threaten to cancel. If your credit card is on file with them, you can count on automatic renewal at over $200 a year. Then you have to call, wait on hold for a while, then try to communicate with someone you can barely understand. Eventually, you can get their “promo” deal again. I have three cars, and have now cancelled all but one account. They are a very difficult company to do business with.
