Default Is Natural Dipped Interior To Much?

Just put an order in for 2023 Corvette and plan on getting Elkhart Blue exterior with either 2LT trim with Natural Milan interior or 3LT in natural Dipped interior. Concern is the latter is simply too much Dipped color vs 2LT which is both black and Natural. I know ultimately it’s my choice but interested in comments from Forum members as to which might best go with the Elkhart exterior.

I had the same dilemma. Ultimately I went Dipped with black seat belts and put in black floor mats to break it up a little.

ive always wanted “peanut butter interior” on a car, and since this is my first corvette my plan is to get it exactly how I want it… (Elkhart is my color choice too)…..I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that the “glare” that’s talked about isn’t too annoying.

imo natural dipped looks best on Elkhart and red mist…..

are you “50/50” or are you leaning a particular way with your interior decision?

I plan to get 3LT natural dipped. Ferrari has used it for decades and its still popular. McLaren uses it, Bugatti uses it, etc. It just depends on what you like.

Came from a Lemans Blue exterior, Cashmere interior & top C6 to the C8. LOVE the Elkhart Blue exterior. Having had the Cashmere and blue decided to change up. Have seen the Natural dipped interior with several different exterior colors I found and still find it to be excessive. I do like the Natural and Black as pictured in post #5 in this thread.

I went way off course with Shadow Gray and Morello Red dipped. The silver floor mats break it up enough for me. It’s still a lot of red.

Natural Dipped 3LT next to Red/Black 2LT

I would say that Natural Dipped is too much IF you are not certain about your decision. When I realized how cool the Next Gen Corvette was (with its euro-styled mid-engine), it made me think of those Ferraris that I have never been able to afford. A true GT in red with a camel or beige interior is what I knew I wanted, period. I love it. You may not.

Here it is with Spanish Gold on the 5-Spoke OE wheels.

Prizmatic Spanish Gold powder-coat on 5-spoke OEM wheels.

You've been on here since 2005 and never owned a Corvette. That's impressive.

One word answer: No.

Of course, I’m biased

I went with all-weather floor liners (they are black) and that should mitigate any concerns about the interior looking dingy in a short period of time. Regular cleaning with Lexol will keep the interior looking like new.

Styling is subjective. I think it's over the top, but I respect someone who feels differently.

However, a quote I like is, "If you can't decide, the answer is no."

Thanks all. I have a 2004 C5 convertible in Lemans blue and Cashmere interior. Beautiful. Comments very helpful. Everyone has their own tastes but right now I’m leaning toward the 2LT trim level with natural Milan interior. The contrast with black seems quite interesting. Thought I may get natural Corvette floor mats to further offset some of the black. Should look good!

I have the same color combo. I have seen the dipped interior and it is just too much for my liking. If you like it then get it.

I have an '09 3LT Convertible Victory Red/Cashmere that I will replace with a C8 2LT HTC Torch Red/Natural.

I would really like to do a custom built interior on the C8 as a Natural lower half and Black upper half like my C6. But I will eventually order the OEM Natural console cover for a 3LT and replace the black one. IMO, the dipped interior is just too much for me.
