Default Assembly Line Photo Album?

Curious if anyone here opted to get the assembly line photo album of their vehicle available through the museum? I ordered one a few weeks before mine was built, and I'm taking delivery of the car next week on the 19th. When did you get your album? How's the quality?

TIA

I haven't ordered my car yet but this was an option that just opened up (I've been keeping an eye on it) after it was turned off for COVID. I suspect not many C8 owners even had the chance to purchase this.

I ordered the Build Album with my 2020 C8. I did NCM Delivery and I did not get the album until a few weeks after delivery. Quality of the album is very good - they have professional photographers take the photos of the build and the album is actually produced by Shutterfly. Since we did NCM delivery, they included two delivery photos in the album.

I also did the album this time around, I take delivery of the car tomorrow. I have the same questions as you.

In case you are curious what the album captures, there is a You Tube Video on it.

I assume you have to have museum delivery to take advantage of the photo album option?

????
How do you do this? Is this an option ordered with the car? I certainly never came across it in the option list. (MY2022) Or is this an additional feature of R8C provided through the museum?

No. You do not have to do NCM Delivery to get the Build Album.

It is ordered through the NCM: https://www.corvettemuseum.org/visit...s/photo-album/. Limited availability - 10 per build week.

For $700.00, I think I would just watch the video on You Tube again and use the money saved towards another option. Fortunately, I can't be tempted as my build date was April 11th.

Can’t necessarily argue with your logic, but I figured it would last longer than the museum delivery memory, plus the assembly line is still not open for tours.

I was thinking about it, but when I took museum delivery 3 weeks ago it wasn't available, they weren't allowing non employees in the plant because of Covid, and when I heard it was $700 I would not have done it. I would have read through it once, thought it was cool, but then it would have just sat on the shelf for years.

This is really awesome! As much as I think I know about the options and cool things with this process I feel like I find out something new every day!

I think it's a cool souvenir, if you plan on keeping your C8 forever. Most Corvette owners don't. Otherwise, I would just spend that money instead towards other options and accessories.
