Here's my guess: OP bought the car used.

If he's saying there's no lemon law in Oklahoma, what he might actually MEAN is that lemon law in OK doesn't cover used cars. It should still be under warranty and be fixed, but that may be the real reason lemon is off the table.

OP's allegations do not pass the smell test. Recommend a lock it unless OP provides a VIN.

Judging from the last OP post. They replaced the entire engine under warranty, which apparently solved the engine issues. GM did their part an honored the warranty. That issue being fixed, I don't think lemon law is going to be in play at this point. Now, if the dealership did not put it back together properly/completely, that is a dealership issue. There are a couple of ways to go. Go through GM as the protocol for engine replacement is part of the warranty coverage. Or, have a reasonable, non-emotional conversation with the service manager and general manager of the dealership to ensure a correct alignment and inspect the suspension re-install.

I have $96000.00 in this car and I am embarrassed and ashamed to show anyone the engine bay because that is what everyone wants to see, It is obvious its been wrenched on from be taken apart so many times.
Now, if the car has been completely repaired, Shifts as it designed, handles as designed, you are sol. So long as the car has been completely repaired under warranty and in good working order. Wrench marks on some bolts does not qualify you for a lemon, a buyback, or a tear to be shed. If the fact that the car is no longer a wrench virgin bothers you that much, then sell it.

I made the serious mistake of taking my 2014 in to those jokers at South Pointe when my transmission failed at 60,000 miles. They took months to repair it, then I brought it in because I thought it was failing again 4,000 miles later and they fixed an unrelated part, then the transmission failed less than 10000 miles after the repair and they would not stand behind and warranty their failed repair. Had to go through GM and ended up paying about half of the $6400 of the replacement transmission that had to be placed so I could sell it to buy my C8 (which has been awesome).

That dealership is hopelessly incompetent. They do not at all care about the customer experience and if they went out of business tomorrow it wouldn't be too soon. Dollars to donuts this sorry excuse for a worthless dealership is your problem. My C8 drives by there when I go down memorial but it WILL NEVER ENTER that disgrace of a dealership.

So very sorry they've screwed you over too.

Given today's market for these cars, why would you want to go through the lemon law process? If it were me, I would see what the local dealers, Carmax, Carvana, etc would give me for the car. Assuming you paid MSRP for the car, I would guess you will come out farther ahead than going the lemon law route.

Did anyone read the text of the Lemon Law in Oklahoma. Despite posting of links and texts from it. The law is the term of the warranty length or 12 months whichever is earlier. So a 2020 C8 now its 2022.. Sound like over a year..

What we do know is nobody knows if it's a 2020, 2021 or 2022 or even exists.

This is why you ONLY get your C8 warranty service done at dealers with GM-certified Corvette master technicians.

Well, actually, after re-reading the OP, it looks like they put a new engine in it. Then he said he had to take it back for what appeared to be alignment/suspension. Apparently, that has been repaired now because his current complaint is that he's embarrassed to show the engine because some bolts have wrench marks on them.

*Note: Between the username, and OP hasn't logged on in two days, I would say troll post. OP came here to complain, didn't get the answers he wanted to hear, and is gone to cry elsewhere.

LOL. > 30,000 C8s on the road, and handful of problems. Google any model of car followed by the word "problems" and you'll be afraid to buy anything ever again. If you're not interested in a C8, why are you here? Go away troll.

I'll let Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson sum up the OP's status:

Well, I have to admit this whole thread does smell a bit off like many have suggested. I probably should have figured it out sooner especially when it's the OP's first post and his user name is C8 disappointment.
It would be like me starting a thread on a Mustang forum and my user name being My Mustang Sucks.
