What's up Peter Pan. Long time it has been. My car just got built on Monday and I'll be getting the entire car wrapped in a matte clear with the top done in black. XPEL up her in Austin wanted $7500 to do the entire car!

BTW, this shop’s stock and trade is paint protection, wraps and ceramic coating. They’re not a detail shop that does wraps as a side business. That’s another important point when anyone is looking for an installer.

Another very good point. The shop I use doesn't wash cars except to start some type of paint protection. I think the shops that can stay in business only doing that must be doing it right.

I had Xpel applied to my C7 and they did the complete front bumper (up to the leading edge of the hood), the headlight covers and rear view mirrors. It was ~$450.00. The guy that did it did a very good job. The service manager told me that the guy who applied mine has won several contests in applying Xpel. It was done 3 years ago, and still looks great. No yellowing and no edges coming loose. He also did the front of my Silverado RST that has the body colored front bumper.

On my C7 (back in 2018), I had front fascia, full hood, headlights, mirrors, front quarter panels, rocker area, up the doors a bit, door sill area, the area where you insert your fingers to trigger the door locks, and behind the rear wheels done with Xpel Ultimate. Cost was around $2K for the work.
