I took this phot last night with one of my Ballerina Friends. I lite the car with (2) Flash Strobes and a 3rd one on the Model. I think the C8 has beautiful lines and photographs great....but as others have said I still think it looks better in person. Just today I was at the Auto-X and I have never in my life had so many people ask me about the car I was driving/racing nor so many that actually wanted to take a photo of it...and this is my 6th Corvette!

Burning Brakes
I think they look much better in person. In fact, I wasnt thinking to get one until I finally seen one at the dealer. The more I look at mine the better I like it, I love driving it though. Chevy did a great job. I do want new wheels and brake pads. Having carbon ceramic brakes for so many years I forgot about brake dust

Some cars photo well and other just don't seem to. Your thoughts?
Even good (un-touched) photos taken in excellent light don't typically seem to fully capture the full beauty of the C8. Of course C8 photos can be enhanced/photo-shopped to the MAX to look any way you want. We often see examples of that on this forum.
You know what I mean, when you see a C8 photo and you know the car doesn't actually look anywhere near that good.
Post C8 photos that you feel prove the point either way.

I wouldn't take a photo shoot hoping for high-caliber with warehouse bays as a backdrop....

While I agree the car looks much better in person by far... You guys take some boring pictures lol. Both of these were taken within 4 hours of delivery.

Agree. C7s photograph much better. There isn't an angle you can't get a good shot of that car. Its just very photogenic.
The C8 is REALLY hard to take a good pic of. As in almost impossible. But in person it is amazing. You can always tell when someone hasn't seen one in person.

The angles of your two photo shots above to me are unattractive, on both C-Series, given the photo angles AND the equipment choice/colors on the respective Corvettes.

case closed
This photo screams; " here I am! Arctic White IS the color C8 that YOU want! It's everything that YOU want in your new Corvette."
It's NOT overpowered by anything in the shoot..... It says; "buy me!"
To me, this is the best photo thus far on this thread.
"Case closed??" Maybe.....maybe not....

I don't think I have ever seen a picture of a car that captured how good it really looked, but that goes the same for sunsets, mountains, etc., IMO. There is something about seeing it with your own eyes that can't be captured with a camera.

I’ve always like this angle photo of any Corvette. My ‘65 C2 I captured with a Polaroid camera in 1965. And a similar angle take of my ‘20 C8 with a iPhone 6S last year.

No, no you were actually giving critique and that is great as I am always willing to learn from more skilled photographers. I know "you wouldn't take photos there" so could you please offer some of appropriate locations you would shoot if you lived by me? Actually to that point I am much more of a visual learner so please post some of your own photos so we all may learn together.
Regarding the photo, that is not a warehouse it is the backside of well know speed shop here in Charlotte that many of use use as a backdrop because it is a good "clean" background for photos because it does not really compete with the car and those around here can get shots once their car is done getting worked on. The sun also sets on the backside of the building so can give a nice rim light (if you have a good sunset...i did not in this shoot). It also gives gives a more "industrial" look which is common theme in automotive photography. That is neither good or bad just different. Of course given your photography experience I am sure you already know this.
Here are some shots from the same location. The Lambo is in the exact spot and the McLaren was just to the side of the building. I would appreciate any tips on how to make those better as well.
