Default Sharing a few pics of my Painted Rear Parking Brake Calipers !!

I have been wanting to do this Mod for a while. Since I am installing my Paragon Cat Back it was a good time to do it.
so I cleaned and taped off the Calipers, then took to the Chevy dealer I purchased car from. I had them paint them Torch Red to match the brembo color. the paint code is WA9075
they charged me $200 which I though was a good price. they came out great ! should have been a option when ordering car !

That looks fantastic, and I agree, should have come that way from the factory.

They look good. Nice and glossy. Not sure I would have had the bolt heads and outboard pad tab sprayed but they look nice nonethelss.

Sorry, I meant rotors, no slotted rotors on the C8 Stingray, I do like the look, hopefully, the Z06 will have them.

The real question is how much of a pita is it to get them off? I would totally do this and get them painted / powder coated. It’s a small thing but it definitely helps the look

very easy job, below is a video from paragon to install rotors like the ones I have and it shows you how to remove and install brake calipers... 2 bolts and 1 connector. I had mine painted rather than powder coating because you would totally have to take them apart.. all i did for paint was remove the 1 pad and slide hardware out. much easier that way. they dont get hot like brake calipers

no I did not use G2 paint. didnt feel I would get a factory like finish plus the cost versus what I paid is less than $50. the paint on then is what they use on the car itself ! you cant tell the difference between the red brembos and the parking brake calipers. couldnt be happier with how they came out !!

Turned out great. I’ve used the G2 on 6 or 7 different vehicles it actually self levels really good. Is that paint going to hold up ok with the heat? Obviously the emergency brake won’t get as hot as the caliper but the whole system get pretty hot.

the paint should hold up fine with the heat. I had my supercharger lid painted on my 2019 Z06 and that part got hot and held up fine !
