I agree with your post, this site is a daily go to for me. I have another 8 months to wait for my C8. It's killing me but at least I have this site to see and learn about what I need to be prepared.
We are still staying at home due to Corona, so this is my contact with the outside world. I have had 5 Corvettes in the last 30 years, it's not just the car, but the culture and car clubs that make it a big part of my life.

I have always considered Corvette owners as more of a "subculture". Kind of like bikers, but without the drugs & prostitution....
